Park in the car park by the banks of the Eure and the Seine-to-Eure Greenway.
(S/E) Walk along the river on your right for about 700 m.
(1) Turn left (roadworks in autumn 2021) and walk along a tributary on your right. Join Rue Arthur Papvoine and follow it to the right. At the roundabout, turn right and immediately cross the avenue.
(2) Go down the steps on the left (watch out for slippery surfaces in wet weather). Cross a branch of the river then follow the Eure on your right again. Follow theGR®2variant, marked in red and white. Reach the junction with a tree-lined lane.
(3) Take this on the left, continue across Rue du Bac and head towards the path on the right which passes in front of a basketball court. Follow this path for a few hundred metres.
(4) Take the path on the left, cross the Route de Seine and continue along the tree-lined avenues, crossing the Voie Marmaille. Turn slightly left to take another avenue opposite. Cross Rue des Troubadours, then Route des Sablons, and then Rue des Cornalisiers. Once you’ve crossed this street, veer slightly to the right and follow Promenade des Tilleuls to Route des Falaises.
(5) Turn right towards the station, following the cycle path. Take the bridge over the Eure.
(6) As you leave the bridge (access to the station is possible on the left), turn right onto the path running alongside the river. In wet weather, there may be slippery patches. Continue to the Route de Seine bridge.
(7) Turn right onto it, then take the grassy path on the left and you will soon reach the junction with the tree-lined lane.
(3) Follow the same route as on the way there and arrive at the junction with the steps.
(2) Climb the stairs as the path under the bridge is closed during the works. At the top of the stairs, head left, passing the entrance to the Vaudreuil Golf Club, cross the avenue and continue in this direction, passing the Vaudreuil exit sign and crossing the Eure bridge again. After about a hundred metres, you will reach the entrance to the Pâtures wetland.
(8) Take a wooden footbridge that winds through the vegetation and past a few animals, including cows and calves. Then join the D71, turn right onto it to return to the car park on the banks of the Eure (S/E).
