Park in the car park of the PÎtres village hall, Rue de l'Église.
(S/E) Follow Rue de l'Église, pass in front of the church, then turn left onto Rue des Cèdres after the cemetery. Cross the railway line and continue straight ahead into Impasse des Peupliers. Reach the banks of the Andelle at the Claude Monet footbridge.
(1) Turn right before the Andelle and follow the towpath, which is also theGR®2marked in red and white. When you reach the mouth of the river, follow the right bank of the Seine. You will arrive at the Hautes Loges district.
(2) Stay on theGR® trail, leaving it shortly before reaching the railway line.
(3) Go to the pedestrian crossing on the bridge, turn left and cross the Seine on the bridge. At the end of the bridge, take the path and follow the railway line. Make a zigzag left/right/left turn onto a sandy strip. You will then come to a roundabout.
(4) Cross it and all the car parks at the leisure centre. Turn right to reach the lake and find theGR®2variant on the shore. Turn left to reach the point that marks the entrance to the water skiing area.
(5) Pass the centre and continue along Lac des Deux Amants. Leave theGR® trail, staying on the edge of the lake. You will soon reach the crossroads of Rue du Port at a sign for Chalets à Louer.
(6) Turn left onto this street. Walk past the houses and follow this street to the end. Then turn right to reach the Poses Dam dyke. Turn left onto this dyke and walk to the right bank of the Seine.
(7) Go down the footbridge and continue left on the road, still following the Seine. Follow the road along the Seine to the Port de Poses.
Keep to the right on theGR® to reach the Andelle footbridge.
Do not cross the Andelle, but follow it on the right. Cross it at the next bridge to reach the car park of the Pîtres village hall opposite (S/E).
