Park at the entrance to Pont-de-l'Arche (Rouen-Paris direction) in the car park on the left, at the exit of the bridge over the Seine and the Eure, towards Les Damps.
(S/E) Leave the car park by going down the street on the left that leads to the Eure and follow the river on your left.
(1) Leave the path on your right, which you will take on the way back, and continue straight ahead, noting the chapel which is also on your right.
(2) Turn left onto the bridge with a barrier and turn right at the end to follow the Seine à l'Eure Greenway, which joins the D77E.
(3) Cross this departmental road and continue straight ahead on the Voie Verte until you turn at a right angle. Pass a house on your right and arrive at the crossroads before the bridge.
(4) Cross the road to take the path that runs alongside the Eure on your right and continue straight ahead.
(5) Continue straight ahead along the Eure without turning left onto the road. Continue for 1 km until you reach the SNCF train station on the other side of the road on your left. Turn right onto the small path diagonally across the green space to reach a road. Follow it to the right to cross the bridge over the Eure.
(6) After the bridge, go down a small path that leads back to the bank of the Eure. Walk along the Eure, now on your right, pass Île du Roi on your right and join a road.
(7) Turn left towards Léry Church, then immediately take the street on the right to walk along the river again. Continue to the bridge over the Eure, but do not cross it. Instead, continue along the street opposite (yellow markings) to the second street on the left.
(8) Turn left onto Rue de l'Eure, then take the first street on the left, Rue du 11 Novembre. Turn right at the next street, which leads to the forest.
(9) At the crossroads, cross over, continue straight ahead and then go under the tunnel to reach the path in the forest, continuing straight ahead. Climb up the path, pass under a high-voltage power line and you will come to a forest road. Take this road to the right until you reach the next crossroads.
(10) Continue straight ahead on the forest road "Route Impériale" which leads to the tunnel under the RD77. Take this tunnel, continue and pass the forest barrier. Turn right to reach an avenue in the village of Les Damps.
(11) Cross this avenue and follow Rue des Écoles opposite, passing the cemetery on your right and turning left at the second street, Rue de la Croix Maurice. Continue, ignoring the three streets on your right.
(12) Just after the third street, turn right onto Sente des Marronniers and follow it downhill until you reach the Eure river.
(1) Turn left to walk along the river on your right and follow the same route back to the car park (S/E).
