The Quatre Bancs crossroads in the Bord-Louviers Forest

Parking and starting point: Route d’Incarville, Carrefour des Quatre Bancs.

(S/E) Opposite the sign saying “Bienvenue en Forêt Domaniale de Bord-Louviers”, take the Route Forestière des Longues Raies and continue to plot 286.

(1) Turn right onto Route de la Mare Corbet. At the first T-junction, continue straight ahead until the first turn-off on the left.

(2) Turn left onto Route de la Vallée Cormette, a grassy path that slopes gently downwards; follow this for approximately 1,400 metres until you reach the T-junction.

(3) Turn left onto a small ascending path. Cross Route Forestière des Longres. Continue straight ahead for approximately 1,090 m until you reach a Y-junction. Follow the right-hand branch to the T-junction, then turn left for about 3 m.

(4) Turn right and immediately take the first path on the left up a fairly steep climb. Halfway up, take the first left-hand turn and continue straight on until you reach the crossroads with a partially tarmac-surfaced lane.

(5) Turn left onto the Route Forestière du Testelet and continue to the crossroads with the signpost for the route, located at approximately 1,620 m. Turn left onto the Route Forestière d'Incarville, following it for approximately 910 m to the wooden post with a Blue Cross on the right-hand side.

(6) Turn right and continue to the first left-hand turn-off, between plots 262 and 263. Turn left onto a small ascending path and, at the first landing, continue straight ahead to the next crossroads.

(7) Turn left onto the Route Forestière des Longues Raies and head back to the car park (S/E).
