Description of the walk

Park in the car park at the Sente aux Moines Forest House.

(S/E) Follow the D313 to the left with care.

(1) Turn left onto the Chemin de la Corbillière through the fields and continue to the edge of the forest.

(2) Ignore theGR®222which crosses your path. Continue straight ahead on the path which runs some distance from the hamlet of La Cramponnière and joins theGR® further on. Go straight on for about 200 m.

(3) At the fork, take theGR®222on the right to the Route Forestière des Fiefs.

(4) Turn left to reach the Rond de l'Eure.

(5) Take the path slightly to the right until you reach the quarry fence. Turn left and follow a small winding track which eventually leads onto a wide dirt track.

(6) Cross the quarry access road on the right and head towards Les Fiefs Mancels. At the end of the path, take the road on the right then the first path on the left, which is initially tarmac but then becomes a dirt track.

(7) At the fork, keep left and continue to the junction with Rue Jacques Hamel.

(8) Continue straight on along Rue de la Mare Asse and head to the car park at the entrance to the forest.

(9) Head up the forest road on the left which runs alongside the Bosc Tard housing estate.

(10) At the junction, turn right and continue uphill to the car park at the forest ranger’s house (S/E).
