Park in the car park after the Guinguette in Amfreville-sous-les-Monts.
(S/E) Take the footbridge across the Seine. Don't hesitate to stop and admire the Amfreville locks, the view of the banks of the Seine and the Côte des Deux Amants.
(1) At the end of the footbridge, turn right and follow theGR® trail that runs along the Seine and joins Rue du Port, which you should take on the right. Continue until you pass the campsite and reach the D110.
(2) At the stop sign, cross the D110 and turn right to follow the path that runs along the Lac des Deux Amants on your left. Stay as close to the lake as possible to pass below the Biotropica zoo, go around the first beach, then the second.
(3) When theGR® turns right, stop following it. Continue straight ahead to continue around the lake, via the path that runs parallel to the D110 on your right.
(4) At the crossroads, go straight ahead and follow the path that enters a wooded area bordering the lake on your left. Turn left when this path becomes a small road (closed to motor vehicles). Continue to the end of this road.
(5) Take the path on the left and continue along the lake on your left until you reach thefirst fork in the path.
(6) Turn right to cross the D110, face the EDF pole and take the path on the left that runs alongside the D110 on your left and Lac Du Mesnil on your right. Leave the sailing school on your right and continue along the path, which turns left after about ten metres and becomes a small street.
(7) Follow it straight ahead, go straight across thefirst intersection and then turn right at the next one towards the church. Go around it so that it is on your right.
Continue along Rue De l'Eglise, pass the two Regional Youth and Sports Centres until you reach a Y-junction.
(8) Turn right onto Rue Des Sablons, then turn left at the end. Continue straight ahead atthe first intersection, then turn right at the second, onto Rue Du Mesnil. Follow it until it turns at a right angle.
(9) Turn left onto the path that enters the grove and follow it to the banks of the Seine.
(10) Turn left to follow the Seine, which will be on your right. Continue along this path until you reach a bench on your left before the campsite, where the path becomes a small street that continues to run alongside the river.
(11) Keep right on the bank of the Seine, walk past the two boats moored at the Musée de la Batellerie while admiring, among other things, the cliffs on the opposite bank and the bell tower of the church of Amfreville-sous-les-Monts, and reach the footbridge over the Seine that you crossed at the start.
(1) Turn right after the Seinoscope de la passe à poissons to climb the footbridge. At the end of the footbridge, turn right to return to the starting point (S/E).
