Description of the walk

Parking on Rue du Mars 1962 or Rue Jean Binard.

(S/E) With your back to the Simone Signoret cultural centre, walk up Rue Pierre Mendès France to the X intersection. Turn left onto Rue François Mitterrand, walk a few metres and cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. Keep left for about 40 m, then take the street on the right between the fixed barriers, walk 30 m to the first left turn.

(1) Turn left onto Sente du Mont Ager. At the fork, take the path on the left. Follow this chalky path, ignoring a path on the right. Ignore the first group of steps on the right and, a few metres further on, climb the two steps. Follow the path uphill, turn at the first right and climb until you reach the tarmac road, Chemin des Perets.

(2) Turn right and continue along the grassy path, just opposite, until you reach the road. Turn left onto Rue des Perets and follow the road as it curves to the right. After the sign for 10, 12, 14 hameau de Corval, turn right onto Rue du Docteur Schweitzer and continue to the roundabout.

(3) Continue straight ahead in the no-entry lane, Rue de Neuvillette, and take the first left, Rue Thiers. At the roundabout, turn right onto Rue de Belbeuf. At the stop sign, continue straight ahead and take the first right, a dead-end road, Chemin de Pont de l'Arche. Turn left to return to Rue de Belbeuf.

(4) Turn right for approximately 270 metres and turn right onto Rue Marcel Denis. At the T-junction, turn left in the wrong direction onto Rue de Pont de l'Arche. At the next T-junction, turn left again onto Route d'Amfreville. At the roundabout, continue straight ahead towards Franqueville-Saint-Pierre, Route des Ondelles.

(5) Take the first road on the right just before the TERIDEAL sign, Chemin de la Croix de Pierre. Cross the road and continue along the road opposite. Take the first right, Chemin des Plans Gards, until you reach the tarmac and the T-junction with a stop sign and a pharmacy on your right.

(6) Cross the road, continue straight ahead on Route de Mesnil Esnard and turn into the first road on the left. Pass three antenna masts, continue for 1,260 metres until you reach the road, turn straight ahead into the steep slope and go down the steps. Continue straight ahead, go down the stairs and immediately turn left until you reach the road, Rue des Violettes.

(7) Continue straight ahead, downhill for 370 m. At the T-junction, turn right, then turn left at the stop sign. Cross the road and continue straight ahead on Rue Pierre Mendès France to return to the starting point (S/E).

A very beautiful hike, on dry ground, very varied and with a nice elevation gain. Beautiful views of the Seine, paths through wild nature, lined with flowering shrubs. Just one path was closed due to a marl pit, but the route already went around it, requiring only a small detour.
Family-friendly access with no problems or dangers.
I recommend it in every way!
