This circuit combines the pleasures of walking with those of a picnic by the water. The Sidobre rocks are a curiosity worth discovering. Lac du Merle is a haven of peace and enchantment where you can relax in the summer heat. It is a beautiful spot with rocks rising out of the water, giving you the feeling of walking on air.

The loop represents a journey through history on the heights of Pont-de-l'Arn. On the plateau, a path, water and memories... This circuit passes through the open hills overlooking Pont-de-Larn. The Pas des Bêtes lake reveals itself in a wooded, fairy-tale setting. The journey ends with two menhir statues standing at the side of the path, witnesses to a civilisation from the late Neolithic period.

This is a beautiful loop along the banks of the Aveyron River, reaching a surprising viewpoint over the Cirque de Bône. The climb to the viewpoint is a tough one called the Côte de Ouf. Numerous landscapes of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and its river await hikers. The return journey passes at the foot of Brousse through pretty woods and, in part, along the Aveyron once again.

This route takes you through the countryside north of Albi, between bucolic marl-limestone hills, woods and fields. You will discover the small heritage of the Tarn: stone walls, wayside crosses, wells, millstones and huts.

A circuit from Bruniquel to Montricoux through the Aveyron valley, which will take you back via the heights overlooking the valley you have just crossed. Beautiful wild trails and a beautiful view of Bruniquel on the opposite side of the river.

A beautiful, small but challenging unpaved circuit for a half-day of physical exertion. Although classified as moderately difficult, you will need to be reasonably fit to tackle the rollercoaster ride of the Viaur. Woods, water, views and old stones are here for your viewing pleasure.

From the Conservatory Orchard to the oak groves of La Grésigne, walkers will follow the path the entire way. The Audoulou stream runs alongside parts of the route, providing welcome refreshment in summer. Some effort will be required as the route alternates between ascents and descents with very few flat sections.

A very beautiful route, almost entirely on footpaths and often through woodland. It will allow you to discover the different facets of the two sides of Durfort up to the Gravette dam on Lake Cammazes.

This is a beautiful circuit in the Val d'Aran, through the Vaqueira mountains to Naut and Baish de Bacivèr Lakes.Although it's a short loop, it requires an established fitness level to climb the first half of the route.The effort will be rewarded by the arrival at Lac Naut de Bacivèr, the highest point of the hike.

The Las Planques chapel is a remarkable example of southern Romanesque art.It is nestled on a rocky promontory in the middle of the woods and majestically overlooks the Viaur Gorges.This long circular route is less difficult to access than the one from Pampelonne (published on Visorando).Although classified as moderately difficult, you will need to be reasonably fit to cover the distance and negotiate the rollercoaster terrain of the Viaur. PLEASE NOTE: Following the flooding of the Viaur, as of 20 February 2026, the trail is inaccessible between the Viaduct and the Tanus Bridge, and most likely for the section leading to the Las Planques footbridge.

This route, through the deep undergrowth of the Agout Valley, will allow you to discover the beech trees and ferns of the Espinouse Forest, followed by those of the Somail State Forest. Numerous vantage points along the way, including Mont du Sialassous, with a 360° view. At the end of the route, you’ll reach the Pailher de Prat d’Alaric, a unique architectural heritage site.

This trail runs south of Hautpoul through varied landscapes, a forest with multiple species and ever-changing flora. Your efforts to reach its heart will be rewarded by the discovery of this magnificent and picturesque little medieval village. At the foot of the Virgin perched on her rock, you will have access to a superb panorama. There are several historical sites, in particular Saint-Pierre des Plots. The planques are ancient footbridges built with huge stone slabs connected by metal staples and supported by dry stone walls and one or two large blocks serving as pillars. This superb circuit takes you through the Haut Languedoc Natural Park, across fields in the middle of the Somail National Forest, to discover these famous planques spanning the Arn stream and the Chemin des Menhirs. This hike may be closed depending on the fire risk. Remember to check the map.

It is a long circular route connecting Milhars to Roussayrolles, passing behind the Château de la Prune. Hikers will pass through valleys and hilltops amongst the peaceful little villages of the Cordais plateau. Old stone buildings, a decorated church and local heritage sites punctuate a wooded, little-used path.

This short route is ideal for getting back into shape. It is easy and runs alongside the Tarn for long enough to allow for a bit of effort at the end of the route, in the middle of the woods.

This short loop is a nice family ride for those who prefer flat terrain. It alternates between roads and paths on the plateau east of Fénols.

This circular path is a path through agricultural land between valleys and hillsides, passing through numerous hamlets and farms. Halfway along the route, the path runs alongside a section of the Bancalié reservoir. The reservoir is fed by the Lézert river.

Treat yourself to a few hours walking along a path covered in dry leaves, admiring the landscape, crossing a stream and listening to the birds to refresh your body and mind. This trail offers a typical view of the Tarn hills, with old crosses, farms scattered along the way and beautiful dovecotes.

A short walk that is ideal for the cold season. It will take you through bucolic landscapes dotted here and there with neighbouring church towers.

The Budel Trail is a route that allows you to explore the Sidobre region and, on clear days, even catch a glimpse of the Pyrenees on the horizon. After winding its way through the wild valley of the Budel stream, the trail climbs back up onto the plateau, offering beautiful panoramic views, including the castle of Castelfranc and the Nautonnier Observatory.

An easy and pleasant walk through the gently rolling countryside of the Albigeois. The two circular loops consist of the Chemin de la Borie Sèche and the Sentier de la Foun del Tel. You can therefore choose, depending on your mood and fitness level, to do just one circular loop or both together.

This is a lovely walk through the vineyards and fields of Briatexte, ideal in winter. Dotted among the valleys and hills are pigeon lofts and distant bell towers. The few sections of road do not detract from the charm of these rural landscapes.
