Park in the car park at Place de la Mairie.
The trail is marked with yellowPR®® signs. These signs are sometimes supplemented by small country signs.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, set off to the left. Immediately climb up to the left into Rue du Puech. At the first bend, turn right. At the end of the tarmac road, continue along the grassy path opposite. At the road (D3), cross very carefully and take the wide track opposite. Walk along the vineyards. At Rausse Basse, leave the track that ends at this farm, continue straight ahead through the grass and follow the hedge on your left. Cross a copse and approach the Ruisseau de la Rauze stream.
(1) When you reach the wide white track, turn right. At the next two forks, take the right-hand branch each time. You will reach a 90° bend.
(2) Leave this white track and continue along the dirt track ahead. Follow the yellow markings in place, as the IGN map is incorrect at this point. After a 90° left turn, walk 800m and you will reach the D3.
(3) Cross the departmental road very carefully and head towards Le Pouget. In the bend before the farm of the same name (on your left), turn right onto the path, going around a hundred-year-old oak tree. You will reach a crossroads after 100 metres.
(4) At this crossroads, a signpost offers two options. Choose to continue left on the Sentier des Coteaux. You will reach another crossroads after 150 metres.
(5) Start of the second circular. Continue straight towards Lincarque. The wide grassy path crosses the Ruisseau de Pré-Long stream. Ignore the side roads branching off to the left and continue to the D1 road.
(6) At the departmental road, turn left and return to visit the church of Lincarque. Walk along the road very carefully.
(7) After your visit, retrace your steps. At the fork, turn left towards Mas de Caussé and cross it.
(8) At the exit of the estate, head towards the vineyard overlooking on the left. Walk along a hedge of trees on your right and end up on the Route de la Couliche.
(9) At the T-junction, turn right towards La Couliche. La Couliche is a naturist centre in Albi. Walk around the entire complex. Follow the wide track until you reach a local road. At the road, turn right and walk for 200 metres.
(10) Just before the small bridge over a stream, turn right onto the dirt and grass track. Follow the yellow markings. The dirt track, which is medium width at first, widens in the open section. The bell tower of Cestayrols can be seen in the distance on the left. Return to the Route d'Albi (D1).
(11) Cross the main road very carefully and climb the path opposite. The IGN map is inaccurate halfway up the hill. Return to the start of the second circular.
(5) Turn left to reach the crossroads with the signpost offering two options, which you passed on the way out.
(4) Turn left and follow the path back to the village and the Théron farm. Cross the farm.
Back on the Route d'Albi and at the entrance to Cestayrols, very carefully make a first turn left then right to visit the village. Pass under the medieval archway on the right. Go up and past the Saint-Michel church. You will come to the road, opposite the Place de la Mairie car park (S/E).
