Departure from the car park at Place de l'École in Rouffiac, just behind the church. The route is very well signposted, with additional local signs.
Yellow markings
(S/E) From the car park, go down to the left towards the D31. Walk carefully along the main road for 50 metres. Turn right and go down Rue des Noyers, then Rue des Gauzides, to the roundabout. At the roundabout, continue straight ahead on Chemin de Néraille. About 30 metres after the right-hand bend, you will find a path on your right.
(1) Take the path. Further on, cross Route de Florentin. Cross La Serre. A dirt track connects this farm to the hamlet of Philip Balanc, 150 metres away.
(2) Cross the locality, continuing along the road in front of you. At the next junction, first turn right then left. Pass the Vignalis service road and continue to the next junction.
(3) Turn right. After the second bend, at the inverted Y-junction, turn right towards Al Roc. Skirt the edge of a lake. Head up to Janicardel, without going there. Join the Route de Poulan.
(4) Turn right, pass the other road to Janicardel, then turn left at the next crossroads onto Chemin de Pessou. In front of a group of houses, turn right onto Chemin du Golf and pass the road to La Grèze.
(5) At this three-way junction, take the right-hand branch. At the end of the climb, the tarmac road gives way to a forest road, elevation 230.
(6) Enter the woods on the left and follow the yellow markings through the woods, turning right, then left.
(7) At the edge of the woods, continue straight ahead, along the edge of the vineyard. Ignore a path leading down to the right. At the end of the plot, turn right to rejoin the D31.
(8) Turn right. Follow the departmental road very carefully. Pass in front of the wash house, then cross the Lavergne stream. Find a dirt track opposite the junction with Route de la Gauzide.
(9) Turn left. At the end of the path, turn right onto the tarmac road. Follow the road without turning off to return to the centre of Rouffiac and the car park at Place de l'École (S/E).
