The Mehaigne and its surroundings between Avin and Meeffe via Ambresin
A peaceful walk, both rural and countryside, along the banks and immediate surroundings of the Mehaigne and its tributary, the Soile, between the villages of Avin and Meeffe, passing through Ambresin. The most pleasant section is undoubtedly the one that runs alongside the Mehaigne (known asthe"Sentier de la Mouhagne"), but the country lanes, lined with tall hedges that provide ideal shade along the route, also have their charm.

The Chevées walk

The Château de Franc-Waret
Starting from the Saint-Rémi church in Franc-Waret, the walk takes you to the magnificent Château de Franc-Waret, the countryside of Gelbressée and Boninne, and a few other sites in the region, such as the Fort de Marchovelette and the Ferme de la Vache.

Around the feudal castle of Moha
The feudal castle of Moha is one of the region's jewels. It is located at the top of a rocky spur on the heights of the Mehaigne, on the edge of the limestone quarries (both old and still in operation), and was apparently built in several phases between the 11th and 14th centuries. Archaeological excavations have revealed a much older presence.

Walk in the Haut-Geer
A walk that takes you along the Geer and into the Haut Geer nature reserve. Walkers will enjoy the scents of the earth, the sound of flowing water, the colourful palette of freshly blooming flowers, the ballet of pollinating insects, the melodious song of birds and the rustling of leaves swaying in the gentle breeze as they pass through the nature reserve.

The Sclaigneaux Nature Reserve and a little further on
This beautiful walk in the northern hills of the Meuse starts at the car park of the Sclaigneaux Nature Reserve.At the start, there is a lovely view of the Meuse valley, limestone grasslands, orchids in season, old quarries and sand pits.Skirting the Bois des Douze Bonniers, the trail begins at km 3 on a steep path leading up to the agricultural plateau of Landenne. Caution: very slippery in wet weather.A short detour on the way back allows you to admire the Château-Ferme du Chant d'Oiseaux, where you can buy a few local products on a self-service basis.
Walk in the woods of Marche-les-Dames
A lovely walk in the wooded hills of Marche-les-Dames: 1 km on the road to start with and 2 km on the towpath to finish, the rest is in the woods.
The path is largely marked by blue rectangles. The walk described deviates slightly from these markings to follow the ridges but rejoins them towards the end.
From Gives to Ben-Ahin and the Solières stream
A varied walk starting on the Meuse hillside and then, after a steep climb, reaching the Solières stream valley. The return journey is via the Grand Henimont and Gives woods.

Spartan circular around Saint-Denis
Route of the unmarked route used for training walks organised by the "Les Spartiates de Gembloux" club. It takes place in the vicinity of Saint-Denis.
From Mozet to Mont-Sainte-Marie in a circular
This circular walk alternates between countryside and forest, starting from one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia and leading to the hamlet of Mont-Sainte-Marie and the remains of a Romanesque watchtower dating from the 11th-12th centuries, as well as the Gothic choir of a 16th-century parish church. On the way back, the route passes the farms of Basseilles and Bialy, as well as some works of art from the Fête de Mai festival.

The springs of Arville de Faulx-les-Tombes and Mont-Sainte-Marie de Mozet
Between the white farmhouse and the red farmhouse, take a narrow country road to discover an old mineral water production site that was the village's main industry for 60 years until 1971. Then head back up towards the hamlet of Mont-Sainte-Marie, whose origins date back tothe 12th century.

This walk alternates between forests and countryside in the 'Fête de Mai' area of the Namur Condroz. The route allows you to discover some of the works of art created over time since the beginning of the 21st century. You can admire the works 'Mange-Bois', 'Cathédrale de Lumière', 'Je suis furieux', 'Parle Papote Chhhuuuuut', 'Cairn de Feu' and 'Serpon-Dragent'.

From the Church of Wierde to Limoy and Mont-Sainte-Marie
This hike, which is not particularly difficult, will take you through the countryside and woods of the Namur Condroz. You will have the opportunity to pass by a fort, a remarkable farm, an old religious building and, towards the end, a ridge road with exceptional views.
La Marlagne, on the plateau of the Citadel of Namur
Starting from the Namur Youth Hostel, where you will find parking spaces and access to public transport.
Between paths, forest trails, views of the Namur countryside and the Meuse valley. There is little tarmac, except at the start of the route, but it is not dangerous and there is relatively little traffic.

Circular around Goesnes starting from Jallet
This circular starting from Jallet first passes by the work of art entitled 'Renversement' (Overturning), which has been overturned and lying on the side of the path for quite some time, a simple reminder that all human action has certain limits.Then, turning towards Goesnes and taking the Tige du Sart aux Roches, the route crosses the countryside towards Jamagne in the direction of the Triffoy Nature Reserve before climbing and then descending towards Vyle, its church and its castle, which has been converted into a residence.After Vyle Castle, the walk takes a long detour along the memory trail, that of the Secret Army and the Bagatelle parachute drop zone, between Pailhe and Goesnes, during the Second World War.On the way back, the route passes in front of the Château-Ferme de Tahier before returning to the Chêne à l'Image, the forest and its Trivouac and finally the magnificent Château d'Hodoumont.
