This 10 km walk takes you on a discovery of the village of Vezin and its countryside. You start your route at the car park of the Vezin sports complex. Cross carefully at the pedestrian crossing to reach the hamlet of Bellaire, where you take a beautiful path through the fields. This takes you to a place called La Tombale before descending towards the hamlet of Somme and its stream. After a short detour near the Bois des Douze Bonniers, you will pass a small memorial monument erected in memory of the miners who died in the Baty Driane disaster in 1883. You then reach Rue de Brichebo, where you can admire the old Moulin Brichebo, a remarkable building nestled in the greenery. You pass through the woods again and then return via the small streets to the centre of Vezin. Carefully cross the road again and join the paths in the fields towards the Bois de la Sarte. When you arrive in the hamlet of Houssoy, you will come across the charming Sainte-Barbe chapel, recently restored on the initiative of the local committee Vezinons Ensemble. You then pass in front of the Saint-Pierre church in Ville-en-Waret and take a small path parallel to the main street. At the end of this path, don't miss the Ferme d'Houssoy and its famous Tour Carrée. Return to the Chaussée and follow it for about ten metres to reach your starting point. Feel free to extend your walk a little further by going down Rue de Leuze, where you can see the splendid Melroy castle farm.
