Description of the route

This walk takes you on a discovery of the countryside around the town centre and the village of Bonneville. You start your route at the Andenne Arena and head for a surprising place called Fond du Chenal, before climbing up into the Bois de Stud and reaching the Andenne Golf Course. You follow several small country roads towards Bonneville. You will pass pretty little chapels and shrines along the way. You will then pass through the centre of the village where you can see several exceptional monuments: the old Dhuy farm, the Cense de Jandren, the Château de Bonneville and the Romanesque church of Saint-Firmin. Don't hesitate to push open the doors of the church, which is open on Sundays during the summer months. Continue along the road for a little while longer before joining a long communal path and then small roads that will take you back to Andenne. On the way, don't miss the charming Ferme de la Vaudaigle and, a little further on, the Ferme d'Au Clair-Chêne. You return to the centre of Andenne via paths through the woods. On the way, you will pass the small Saint-Roch chapel and the famous Fontaine de l'Ours fountain. Continue along the narrow streets to the Andenne Arena, where you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat before returning to your vehicle.
