A pleasant hike in the Belledonne massif. Very pretty views and a wide variety of vegetation. Moderator's note (Caution): The Val Pelouse road is closed to all traffic 5.5km from the car park: following a landslide in January 2022, a large section of the road has been washed away.

This is a very beautiful hike, especially after a few days of rain, which feeds the many streams. The first part up to (1) is not very steep but quite long, so it is best to be in good shape.

A slightly longer and slightly steeper alternative route, but still not considered difficult. There are still beautiful panoramic views, and with a bit of luck, you may see some lovely waterfalls at the start of the hike.

This hike is quite physically demanding in the first part. The section along the Doria is really very pleasant. At the summit, you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of Belledonne and Chartreuse. The fairly long descent is not particularly difficult.

A beautiful hike through orchards and forests in the hills above Rive de Gier. The very hilly area offers beautiful panoramic views. Chagnon and Saint-Romain-en-Jarez are interesting for those who love old buildings.

A very pleasant walk, fully signposted (Voie Verte in Le Puy, then the GR® Red and White trail). The village of Chaspinhac is well worth a visit, and Saint-Quentin is also a must-see. The route is often shaded, which can be very pleasant in summer.
