Park in the small car park at the boules pitch on the right before the cemetery.
(S/E) Head towards the cemetery and go to the cross. Then turn left. After 100 m, take the marked path on the right. From there, follow this path, which climbs steadily for 3.5 km and leads to the highest point (altitude 677).
(1) Turn left. The path soon descends. Continue until you see the sign for the viewpoint. There, climb up to the right for about 100 m to reach the promontory.
(2) From here, there is a beautiful view of the Alps in the background and the lakes of Conzieu.
Retrace your steps and descend to the right towards Grange d'Orme. Keep following the marked path.
(3) Now leave the marked path that descends to the left and continue straight ahead. You will soon find yourself in an open area, and to the west you can see the meanders of the Rhône and the suspension bridge at the port of Groslée.
Further on, if you turn around, you can even see the Sure and the Vercors massif.
(4) At a red EDF marker, take the descent to the left until you reach the paved road. Continue downhill to the left, make two hairpin turns, then follow a meadow on your left. Continue to the next turn.
(5) Leave the road and take the path on the left into the forest. You will soon come to a fork. Keep left.
Follow this pleasant forest path along a stream. Continue in the same south-south-east direction. Cross a stream and continue until you come to a wider path. On your left is a green gate.
(6) Turn right. Quickly cross another stream, then turn left. After another 100 metres, you will come to a small paved road where you will find the signposts again.
(7) Turn right. Descend to the hamlet of Meunier. Walk along the houses, then turn left. Join the D10a and follow it to the left until you reach the wash house.
(8) Turn left to cross the hamlet of Sous Roche, then return to the D10a and follow it to the left until you reach the recycling bins.
(9) Take the gravel path on the left. Follow it until you reach the first houses in Saint-Benoît, where you will find yourself back on a paved road.
(10) At the cross, turn left. Continue to the next cross, then turn right and descend to the car park (S/E).
