Head to the station car park on Avenue Pierre Semard. You can park here without any problems.
(S/E) Go around the roundabout and head east towards the Rond-Point des Insurgés. Continue towards the tourist office. Soon, on your left, you will come to the hospital hill.
(1) At the signpost, head towards L'Andran. Continue for about 600 m until you reach the Gaguerenard crossroads.
(2) Continue climbing towards L'Andran. This section has a significant elevation gain, and after numerous hairpin bends, you will reach a small tarmac road. You are now at Hubac de Saumon.
(3) Follow this road on your right. Soon, the signposts will indicate that you should take the path on the right. After about 500 m, you will rejoin the road at Chemin de Blanchard.
(4) Set off opposite, still heading towards L'Andran. Cross the road four times, then you will arrive at Le Pied du Relais.
(5) Turn right towards the antennas. Continue until you reach the wind sock. You are now at the summit. From here, enjoy the 360° panorama.
(6) Continue north and descend to the junction with the marked path at Baisse des Chatières.
(7) There, take the hairpin bend to the left onto the track to reach the Pied du Relais, which you already passed on the way up.
(5) Then take the path back the way you came to Chemin de Blanchard.
(4) Descend the road to Courbons on the right. Quickly take the path on the right. This part is really very pleasant (lots of flowers, amazing geology, etc.). Walk to the entrance to Courbons.
(8) You can take a tour of the hilltop village and then return to the entrance.
(8) Then head right towards Les Hautes Sieyes. Cut across the bend in the road.
(9) Follow the signs along the road, then turn left towards Adrech des Hautes Sieyes.
(10) Climb up opposite to Les Hautes Sieyes. Pass between the stone houses. Then follow the signs for Digne. Descend to Avenue de Verdun.
(11) Follow it to the left for about 600 m. You will arrive at the Rond-Point du Quatre Septembre. On the left, you will find your starting point (S/E).
