Head to the village of Saint-Sulpice-des-Rivoires. Go to Place du 19 Mars 1962, near the church. Park in the car park.
The path is mostly marked in yellow.
(S/E) Take Route des Rvoires (D82j) heading south-west. Pass the cemetery and continue to the cross.
(1) Opposite the cross, take the path on the left for about 200 metres in open country, then enter the Bois de Servelongue. Follow the marked path through a forest mainly composed of chestnut trees, beeches and a few oaks. From time to time, a clearing allows you to see the hamlets of Mollard and Les Rivoires below.
After almost 2 km, the path turns slightly to the left and offers a clear view south towards Massieu. Shortly afterwards, you will come to a crossroads with several paths.
Without markings
(2) Leave the marked trail and head left, towards the north-east. The path climbs under the chestnut trees. Soon, you will come to a path: turn right. Continue straight ahead under the conifers, walking alongside a meadow on your right. This section offers beautiful views of the Chartreuse mountains. When you leave the forest, turn right and you will come to a crossroads.
Markings
(3) Turn left heading northeast, along the edge of the Bois Métral. From here, there is an unobstructed view to the north and the Mont du Chat. Follow this path downhill, which soon opens up onto the Chemin du Fourrier.
(4) Turn right towards Petit Consuoz. At the entrance to the hamlet, you will find yourself on a tarmac road. At the crossroads, turn left towards Bruvillon. Just after the second house in this hamlet, you will find a path on your right.
(5) Follow the marked path to the wooden cross.
(6) Turn left, then at the crossroads, turn left again. At the fork, go down the Montée des Termes on the left. Take the first street on the right and you will soon arrive at the car park (S/E).
