A demanding route, but not very well travelled. It can be done as a return trip to the Croix de Bassan for a medium level of difficulty. It can also be extended by going to the electricity pylon. Beautiful view of Roquevaire and Sainte-Baume.

This hike follows old paths, with the view changing as you climb: the Lescun cirque (Pic d’Anie), Layens, Ourdinse, Mailh Massibe, and of course, the Bergon. You arrive at a charming hut where you can stop for a picnic.

A short, pleasant walk where you can have a picnic at the summit. Beautiful views of the Anie and the scattered settlements on the borders of Béarn. No difficulty. A few yellow markers to help you find your way.

A lovely climb in the shade of the woods, highly recommended on hot days. On arrival, a beautiful view of the Cirque d’Aspe and a lovely picnic spot. Magnificent houses at the start, others currently being restored.

A short, easy walk next to the Aramits adventure park. Beautiful views over the plain and the mountains: Anie, Madeleine, etc. Picnics possible at the summit. The route alternates between woodland and meadows, with a few signposts except for the summit.

A walk through a wild valley, once inhabited for two centuries. An untouched forest, hyacinths, mosses, ruined houses, and a black rock from which a river with crystal-clear waters flows.

A pleasant walk starting from a Basque village in Béarn. Beautiful views of the Pyrenees range from the Pic du Midi de Bigorre to the Pic d’Orhy. Marked trail, a little muddy at the start, with lovely houses on the ridges all along the route.

A short, easy walk that can be combined with the Soum d’Aulis, or, alternatively, shortened by descending via the road from the Soum de Rut. Beautiful views of the Pyrenees from the summit.

You walk along old stony paths, unfortunately including a track. There is a beautiful view of the Ger massif and the Pic du Midi d’Ossau, and you eventually come to numerous barns, many in ruins but a few well-maintained.

An easy walk with magnificent views of the snow-covered Cirque d’Aspe. Important note: there is a €5 entry fee, and a Capercaillie Protection Area prevents you from completing a circular walk; alternatively, you must cross over to the Spanish side through a former military site.

Two options: either a 2-hour family walk, the Fontaine d'Estéret route (a circular PR® route marked in yellow), or a longer route including the ascent across the Pla Dou Soum (1,391m) with a beautiful view of the Massif de Ger.

A family walk through the meadows, with cows and sheep depending on the season. You may see paragliders descending from the Bergout, weather and wind conditions permitting. Suitable for walkers of all ages.

A somewhat long walk, but not difficult, with good yellow PR® Route de la Vallée d'Arudy signposting, which occasionally overlaps with a GR®. Beautiful views of the Ger massif and perhaps towards Ossau. Several interesting churches along the way.

A short walk to enjoy after rainy days, with no muddy paths. A lovely climb up to Bescat with a beautiful view of the valley, the Ger massif and Ossau. You’ll discover the Buzy dolmen along the way.

A little-known viewpoint overlooking the Bedous valley, Le Layens (on the Serres side), the top of the Gey cirque, and L’Ourdinse. Suitable only for hikers who know how to walk off the beaten track and have a good sense of direction.

A long route, with steep sections and paths that are sometimes poorly marked. From the summit, a magnificent view over the Basque Country, the Cirque de Lescun, the Sesques massif, all the way to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre.
