A circular that can be done at any time of year, allowing you to discover and visit the pretty Dauphiné village of Revel. The ridge path at the start, along with the flat section in the second part of the route, allow you to enjoy landscapes stretching from the Alps to the Massif Central.
Best done on days before rain to ensure clear skies, offering superb, far-reaching and unobstructed views.

On the way, you can see the priory of Manthes, visit an extraordinary garden created by a disciple of the facteur Cheval, tour the Château du Double and search for a riddle.
From the pear trees of Valloire to the Château du Double

You will cross the Valloire plain, surrounded by fields and orchards in Lens Lestang, until you reach the Priory of Manthes. Information boards tell you about mulberry and pear trees. Then you climb up to the Madone de Moras and return along a path well sheltered from the sun, along the moraine. On the way, you can admire the Château du Double.

Explore the old village of Pinet and its castles, then the Pinet tower, before descending through the forest and meadows, enjoying unobstructed views of the Pilat massif, the Monts du Lyonnais and Mont Verdun in the Monts d'Or.

On this fairly flat loop, you follow a stream and then a river where brown trout breed. You will discover some beautiful restored houses and mills, a spring, a lake...
An easy, short and enjoyable hike, best done in good weather in summer when La Gère is low, due to the need to ford the river.
The Terres Rouges and Les Revolets

A short, easy and enjoyable stroll. You will walk alongside ponds, cross through woods on wide, pleasant paths (which can sometimes be a bit muddy...). The peaks of Pilat are visible in the distance. Thanks to Marc for this walk!
From Ornacieux to Étang du Marais

This is an easy walk. You start from the village of Ornacieux-Balbins, on the side of the wooded moraine, and descend into the Liers plain. You will reach the Étang and the Marais de Faramans.
In good weather, you can enjoy interesting views of the surrounding mountains.
La Côte Saint-André through the ridges

This route, which passes by two viewpoint indicators, offers amazing views over plaine de la Bièvre and the Vercors and the Chartreuse mountain ranges.
The Monks' Path in Lieudieu

This walk is not difficult. It alternates between woodland and the Dauphiné bocage. It takes you past three beautiful residences: the fortified house of Cazeneuve, Bonnevaux Castle and Avril (or Arzay) Castle, as well as a few ponds.
The Clock Tower and Saint Hugon Chapel

This walk presents no major difficulties apart from the distance. The first part takes place mainly in the woods, the second in the Dauphiné bocage. It will take you past several ponds, up to the Clock Tower, and to the amazing Saint-Hugon Chapel.

Discover the mansions and castles of the village of Anjou, enjoy the 360° panoramic views, walk up the bed of a dry stream that has left its traces of erosion in the tuff. Return through the forest to find the clear views of the ridges before descending back to Anjou.
Please note that this hike is not possible during heavy rainfall, as the stream bed used would no longer be dry.
Small routes over the ridges of Estrablin

An easy walk in the village of Estrablin which, over the course of two hours, offers large open views over the surrounding hills and mountains. We mainly take small peaceful tarmacked country lanes, which means you can enjoy a walking excursion even after heavy rainfall and when the paths are almost impassable.
From the Chapulay woods to Septème Castle

A fairly easy hike alternating between forest trails and wide open views. Best done in dry weather with clear skies to make the most of the views of the Alps and the beautiful hills and valleys at the start of the route.
This is an opportunity to discover the Château de Septème.
Estrablin - Pont-Évêque - Septème

This walk alternates between wide-open views of the surrounding valleys and distant mountain ranges (Monts du Lyonnais, Pilat, Alps) and pretty, fairly hilly sections in the forest.

From Marnans to the Étang des Mermes

You will walk through beautiful woodland, with a few quick views of the Pilat, Lyonnais and Vercors mountains
It's a fairly short walk, but at times it goes up and down, so it's quite demanding on the legs.
The Devil's Stone route in Artas

This is a walk with little elevation gain and no difficulty, except for the distance. You will stroll through the rolling countryside of northern Isère. As a bonus, you can walk around the Pierre du Diable (Devil's Rock) and maybe even climb it!
Around Sainte-Anne-sur-Gervonde

A short walk in the countryside of northern Isère. The first part takes you across the open plateau, the second through more enclosed valleys, alongside several ponds.
The Castle of Bluebeard

The Drôme hills offer rolling countryside landscapes against the backdrop of the Vercors and, when visibility is good, the peaks of the Alps can often be seen on the horizon.
These are beautiful walks all year round, best enjoyed when the days are short and snow is approaching the plains. The route has a modest elevation gain, making it accessible to most people. What's more, the fact that it is spread over two sections of the route makes it easier to complete
The heights of Vienne by small roads for wet days

A hike that almost exclusively uses small roads without traffic, providing a route where the paths are not an option.
We start in Vienne and experience its panoramic views of Notre-Dame de Pipet and the Vienne hills with beautiful views of the Rhône Valley and the Pilat massif at the bottom.
The return journey takes you through the homes on the Vienne heights while maintaining good views of the Viennoise hills.
