Chapel tour in Chatte

An easy walk among the walnut trees and woods of Chatte. Beautiful views of the northern flank of the Vercors massif.
Saint-Bonnet-de-Chavagne loop via Montagne

A walk in the southern foothills of the Chambarans offering beautiful views of the Vercors and, at times, the Chartreuse and the Monts d'Ardèche.
There are no difficulties to be feared on this walk, apart from the distance. You will be walking on dirt tracks, footpaths and small asphalt roads.
Suburban loop in Saint-Marcellin
A walk between the countryside and the town of Saint-Marcellin, which can be shortened or extended as desired. You will cross the Cumane, pass under the viaduct and visit the allotment gardens. On the ridges of Saint-Marcellin, you will be treated to a superb view.
The kingfisher trail from Beauvoir-en-Royans to La Sône

You start in the charming medieval village of Beauvoir-en-Royans and head to La Sône. On the way there, you take the kingfisher trail along the Isère. This is a short day's walk combining culture and nature.
September 2020: several hikers have reported significant deterioration of the trail along the Isère River. Some sections may even be dangerous.
The Crêtes de Saint-Lattier

You will start at the lowest point in Saint-Lattier and climb to the highest point, where you will enjoy a 360° view of the Vercors, Drôme and Ardèche mountains. The cobbled climb, an ancient medieval road, leads to Bel Aire. Along the way, you can admire the paving, the structures from the period and the ruts carved out by the carts and wagons that used to travel to the castle mound known as "Le Pain Sucre", which dominates the Saint-Lattier valley.
In Mandrin country

Wind through the valleys between Brion and Saint-Michel-de-Saint-Geoirs, then climb up to the ridge where you will have 360° views of Mezenc, Pilat, the Plaine de la Bièvre, the Chartreuse, Belledone, and the Vercors.
End by walking through Mouillasson forest to get back to your vehicle.
Canal de la Bourne and Chapelle Sainte-Béatrix in Eymeux

This is an easy hike. It will take you between the Isère and the Bourne Canal, passing by the Sainte-Béatrix Chapel and its promontory overlooking the Isère with a remarkable view of the Vercors.
On the monks' paths in Triors

Between the Benedictine Abbey of Triors and the Chapel of Gillons, you may encounter monks who also enjoy the tranquillity of these paths, which pass by beautiful walnut groves and close to the foothills of the Drôme hills.
On the heights of Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans

A walk in the hills above Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans offering beautiful views of the whole Royans region. Much of the route is through forest with some fairly steep slopes.
Serre Cocu circuit

A pleasant circuit on the western side of the Vercors, more precisely in the Royans, which takes you to a small summit offering a beautiful view of the Isère plain and the peaks of the Vercors.
Loop trail to Paradis starting from Pont-en-Royans

This moderately hilly route will allow you to discover the typical landscape of the Royans. Through meadows and walnut groves, this loop will also allow you to appreciate the charms of the villages of Saint-André-en-Royans and Pont-en-Royans (medieval streets, hanging houses, banks of the Bourne) after crossing a neighbourhood called "Le Paradis".
Belvédère des Trois Châteaux de Pont-en-Royans

This hike is accessible to all and offers a 360° view of the Vercors and Pont en Royans. Ideal before dinner to whet your appetite!
From the Cascade Blanche to the Cascade Verte

Walk around Mont Baret with access to two waterfalls. At the start of the hike, enjoy the view of the hanging houses of Pont-en-Royans. Passing through the Petits Goulets, a series of four tunnels on a narrow and very busy road, it is advisable to bring torches so that you are visible to motorists.
