Park at the southern entrance to the village of Parnans on Route des Antonins.
(S/E) Follow the D123 south-west for about 100 metres and take the Route du Lavoir on the left. Pass the wash house and cross the La Joyeuse bridge. Take the path on the left, Chemin Lamure. A little further on, take the Chemin de Bouzon on the right and follow it until you reach the tarmac road, Chemin de la Maladière.
(1) Continue around the bend to the right and leave Chemin du Pied de la Cotte on your right. At the fork, take Chemin de la Mine d'Or on the left.
(2) Continue straight ahead, bypassing the hamlet of La Maladière on your right. Find an unpaved road on your right and follow it for about 400 metres. At the intersection, turn left and you will arrive at the small hamlet of La Tour.
(3) In this group of houses (horse relay station), turn right onto Chemin de la Tour and 100m further on, turn right again. Follow this path passing near a walnut grove with horses... Continue, cross Chemin de la Ville and continue straight ahead on Chemin de Roybon.
(4) Shortly after a house, take Chemin Charaire, which branches off to the right and climbs uphill. This road passes through and climbs moderately under the woods. Leave Impasse Buis Jaquet on your right and continue along the paved road until you reach Route des Crêtes.
(5) Look for the signpost "Les Fenêtres" and turn right onto this road towards Saint-Lattier. Enjoy the beautiful panorama and views of the Vercors mountains.
(6) At the intersection, continue straight ahead towards the "Table d'orientation" sign. After a slight climb, you will arrive at the orientation table. After enjoying the view, continue on the Route des Crêtes and, shortly after a house on your right surrounded by a large wall, you will arrive at the Chemin de la Mine d'Or.
(7) Turn right and follow the Chemin de la Mine d'Or downhill. Leave the Chemin de Portiou a little further down. After a farm and some livestock buildings, walk along a plot of truffle oaks. At the end of the fence, ignore a path down to the left (Côte Sauvie) and continue straight ahead. Pass a hunting observation post, then go down a short steep slope and, after a house on your left, you will reach the Maladière farm you passed on the way there and the Chemin de la Maladière.
(2) Turn left and follow the route you took on the way there to return to the Chemin de Bouzon, then the Route du Lavoir and the entrance to the village of Parnans (S/E).
) and a few nice views.
