This route links the rural Sambre valley with the Mormal National Forest, passing through the surrounding hedgerow landscape. It therefore follows various paths and roads and traverses a varied landscape. The natural and riverine heritage brings much of the route to life.

Discover the Sambre backwater in Leval, take the rural paths of the Avesnois to reach the La Glorieuse craft brewery in Monceau-Saint-Waast. You will take rural paths and be able to observe the Avesnois bocage.
