Park at Place de l’Église in Bachant. The route starts at No. 65 on the Points Nœuds Vélo network.
(S/E) With your back to the church, turn left onto Rue Maurice Poirette and continue to roundabout no. 65. Turn right, pass one street on your right and take the path 98-65 V31 V363 on your right. Cross the Sambre and follow this path until you reach the towpath. Go down this path and continue until you reach Grand Rue de Pont-sur-Sambre.
(1) Take great care on this busy road. Cross and turn left onto the bridge over the Sambre, then immediately turn right onto the towpath V363 V31 98-65 until you reach the next bridge over the Sambre.
(2) When you reach the street, continue straight ahead. Pass No. 97 and continue straight ahead on the towpath until you reach Rue Roger Salengro.
(3) Turn right over the bridge and continue along Rue des Anglais. Cross Grand Rue and continue straight ahead. Turn left onto Rue Neuve and continue to No. 96.
(4) Keep left on Rue de la Tête Noire, pass the Berlaimont church on your left and continue straight ahead until you reach Rue Gilles de Chin, which you will follow to the right. Turn onto the first street on the left and cross over the Sambre to rejoin the towpath on the right at section 94-41. Follow it to the Leval dead arm and number 94.
(5) Continue left to leave the towpath. Turn right/left and go straight ahead to reach Rue des Prés. Pass the Leval church on your left.
(6) Turn left to No. 93 and go straight ahead, then take the second right, Rue du Moulin. Go straight ahead, cross a railway line and continue straight ahead until you reach Rue Roger Martin.
(7) Turn right and take the first right, Rue de la Brasserie. Continue straight ahead until you reach No. 75.
(8) Turn left onto Rue de Leval, then take the second right, still on Rue de Leval, and continue until you reach number 72.
(9) Turn left and pass the Saint-Martin de Monceau-Saint-Waast Church on your left and go straight ahead until you reach the Y at No. 73
(10) Turn left onto Rue de Verdun, then go straight ahead until you reach Route d'Avesnes. Turn right, then quickly left onto Rue de l'Église and pass the Saint-Rémy church. Go straight ahead, turn left at the T-junction onto Ruelle Margot and go straight ahead until you reach No. 74.
(11) Turn left, then take the first right, Ruelle Blanchard, until the bend.
(12) Turn left and, at the end, turn right onto Route d'Ecuelin. Continue straight ahead until you reach a four-way intersection.
(13) Cross the road and continue straight ahead until you reach the Y junction.
(14) Continue left to No. 67, Chapelle du Capiot, at Route de Bachant.
(15) Take the 90° left turn and go straight ahead on Rue de Malakoff until you reach No. 66 and Avenue Maurice Thorez.
(16) Turn left and continue to the roundabout, keeping the railway tracks on your right. Take the first right, cross the railway tracks and continue to the next roundabout. Take the second exit and continue to the next roundabout.
(17) Take the first right, Rue Jean Jaurès, and continue straight ahead on Rue Mirabeau until you reach Rue Parmentier.
(18) Turn left at the four-way intersection, turn right onto Rue du Foyer and rejoin Rue Mirabeau.
(19) Turn left and when you reach the Médiathèque Pierre Briatte, turn left and take the fourth left, Rue Mirabeau. Continue straight ahead until you reach the T-junction.
(20) Continue right and immediately left onto Chemin de l'Abreuvoir until you reach No. 97.
(2) Go straight ahead, cross over the Sambre V31 and continue straight ahead until you reach No. 25 at the four-way intersection.
(21) Turn right. At No. 70, continue straight ahead on Route de Berlaimont, then Rue des Blancs Bois, until you reach Route de Bavay.
(22) Cross and continue straight ahead on Rue de Bel Air until the end.
(23) Turn left and pass the Quartes church on your right. Continue straight ahead to No. 71 and Chemin de Boussières in Berlaimont.
(24) Continue right until you reach Rue de l'Église.
(25) Turn right until you reach the Saint-Marcel Church in Boussières-sur-Sambre and the fork.
(26) Turn left, cross the bridge over the Sambre and join the towpath.
(27) Take the towpath V31 61-60 on the left and continue straight ahead until you reach Hautmont.
(28) Leave the towpath and turn left onto Rue des Bateliers. Ignore two streets on the right and continue to No. 60 and Rue Marcel Aymé.
(29) Turn right. At the end, turn left, then immediately right, then left to join Rue Nationale.
(30) Turn right and continue to the roundabout. Take the first right, Rue Saint-Pierre, and continue straight ahead to the roundabout. Take the third exit, Rue de l'Abattoir. Continue, ignoring the adjacent streets, until you reach the second street on the right.
(31) Turn right and then immediately left onto Rue des Américains, and follow it to the end.
(32) Turn right and continue straight on Rue d'Hautmont towards Limont-Fontaine. Ignore two roads on the right and continue straight until you reach the Church of Saint-Nicolas.
(33) Turn right and keep going until you reach the houses. Then stay on the left on Rue d'Éclaibes and continue until you reach No. 63 and Rue des Falizes.
(34) Turn right, then left onto Rue de la Couturelle and continue to No. 62 and Rue de la Brasserie.
(35) Turn left and continue until you reach Rue de l'Église on the right.
(36) Take this road, which becomes Chemin de Limont. Pass the railway line, cross Rue de Maubeuge and continue straight ahead on Rue du Calvaire until you reach the four-way intersection at No. 64.
(37) Turn left onto 65-64 V31 V363, and follow Rue Maurice Poirette until you reach Place de l'Église (S/E).
