This route in the Baladavesnois collection allows you to discover numerous oratories. Each one is unique. Built in blue stone, witnesses to times gone by, they come in different shapes.This ride will take you into the heart of the rolling countryside of the Avesnois, with pollarded trees typical of the landscape of the Avesnois Regional Nature Park.
Mills and kiosks of the two Helpes
The route takes you on a journey of discovery to two bandstands and six water mills. Between the two valleys of the Helpe Mineure and the Helpe Majeure, you can admire the local architecture, where blue stone forms the basis of the buildings. This hilly route is suitable for experienced cycle tourists, while the shorter version is accessible to occasional cycle tourists.

This route links the rural Sambre valley with the Mormal National Forest, passing through the surrounding hedgerow landscape. It therefore follows various paths and roads and traverses a varied landscape. The natural and riverine heritage brings much of the route to life.
The organic milk route starting from Féron
Discover the profession of organic farming through the Baladavesnois app. This cycle route through the Avesnois countryside can also be completed on foot. We offer four stops along the way to provide explanations about biodiversity, water, cattle farming and the production of Maroilles cheese.
