(S/E) Sars-Poteries Tourist Office.
With your back to the tourist office, walk 100 metres to the left of the main road.
Turn left onto Rue Jean Jaurès.
Continue for 100 metres, then turn right onto Rue Pasteur.
Continue to the stop sign.
(1) Turn left onto Rue Victor Hugo.
(2) Pass the menhir on your left and immediately turn right onto Rue Potier, then take the greenway on the right.
Continue along the greenway until thethird intersection, at Lez-Fontaine.
(3) Exit on the right and enter Lez-Fontaine.
Take Rue Léon Perron, then Rue du Général de Gaulle, turning right.
You will arrive near the village's central square.
We invite you to take a stroll around it to discover the open-air theatre, the Trieu chapel and the bandstand.
Return to the greenway by retracing your steps along Rue du Général De Gaulle, then Rue Léon Perron.
(4) Take the greenway on the right, towards Solre-le-Château
Continue along the greenway until you see the bell tower on your left.
(5) Turn left onto Avenue du Général De Gaulle. Continue to the centre of the village, following the main street that descends to the right.
(6) Head towards the bell tower and take the road to the Customs Museum on the right, D962.
(7) Turn right onto Rue des Plaines, towards Beaurieux au Riamé. Continue straight ahead, through Beaurieux.
(8) Turn left towards the square after the church, cross the Écrevisse stream, turning left onto Rue du Truquet towards Hestrud. At the fork, turn left, then right at the next fork.
(9) When you reach Rue Là-haut, turn right and follow this road, which continues as Route de Beaurieux.
(10) When you reach the D962, turn right onto Rue de Beaumont.
Enter Hestrud and continue straight ahead until you reach the Café Rando-Musée de la douane. You are almost in Belgium.
Park equipped for picnics or taking a break - Kiosk.
(11) Go back up the road you came on for 100 metres and turn right towards Cousolre and the Thure valley (D280).
Continue carefully (stay on the right-hand side of the road) for about 5 km until you reach Cousolre.
Follow the signs for the centre to arrive at the bandstand.
(12) Turn around and take the road you came on, and at the first fork, head towards Sars-Poteries and Bérelles on the D80. Continue straight on Rue des Juifs. Take thesecond left, Rue de la Montagne, which continues as Rue Auguste Sustendal.
(13) Turn left onto Rue Saint-Joseph
(14) At the end of the street, turn right and then right again onto Rue de la Gare, then straight ahead onto Route de Bérelles, D80.
Continue for about 6 km until you reach Bérelles.
In the village, just before the church, stop at the square on your right - Fontaine.
(15) Opposite the church, turn left and then immediately right to head towards Solrinnes and Dimechaux.
(16) At Solrinnes, turn right at the stop sign towards Dimechaux. Cross the Solre.
(17) At the fork, turn right onto Grande Rue, then Route de Solrinnes, D80, and continue straight ahead on the main road.
Enter Dimechaux.
(18) At the intersection, take the road opposite (rue de la place) - Kiosque. Turn around and go back to the intersection, turn right onto Route de Solre-le-Château, D27.
(19) At the Libotte crossroads, turn right towards Offies. When you reach the T-junction, turn right onto Route d'Offies, then takethe first left onto Champ d'Offies to return to Rue du Gal Leclerc, then the greenway.
(20) Turn right. You are now in Sars-Poteries! Head towards the church!
(21) Keep left, go straight on Rue Potier, then takethe second right onto Rue de l'Église.
(22) With your back to the kiosk, turn left onto Rue Anatole France, then right onto Rue Pasteur, and finally left onto Rue Jean Jaurès. You will arrive at the main road. Turn right to return to the starting point (S/E).
