Start from the town hall.
(S/E) Leave the square and turn right onto the Route de Boulogne.
(1) After the cemetery, at the wayside shrine, keep to the right. Further on, pass the Chemin des Camiaux on your left.
(2) At the crossroads, cross the Grand Chemin and head straight ahead. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The narrow road winds for 1 km until it reaches a junction at a place called Mont Orgueil.
(3) Turn left uphill.
(4) At the Grand Chemin, turn right towards Cartignies. After 400m, before the farm, turn left onto the grassy path.
Take care, as the path descends steeply. You’ll reach a road at a chapel; continue straight ahead for 250 metres, keeping Rue de Basse Zone on your right.
(5) At the hamlet of Chevireuil, head right towards Les Reteaux and cross the bridge over the Chevireuil. At the next fork, turn right.
(6) At the oratory, continue left for 550m. Before the junction and the houses, turn left onto the hedgerow-lined path known as Chemin Vert.
(7) Further on, cross a road and take a footbridge. At the road, continue to the right,
(8) At the next junction, turn right onto Rue Gromesse then follow Chemin des Camiaux to the left. Then take the first path on the right and head towards the wayside shrine, near the cemetery.
(1) Head straight on and you’ll find the town hall on your right (S/E).
