Enjoy the cool shade of the Ramiers de Lacroix-Falgarde and Goyrans, with views over the Garonne and Ariège valleys.

On the outskirts of Toulouse, climb up to admire the Pyrenees and the hillsides, then return to the cool shade of the Goyrans forest along the Ariège river.

In a small corner near Toulouse is a lake where many birds live and where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Why not spend an afternoon discovering it?

Connecting the village of Vieille-Toulouse to that of Pechbusque via the Way of St James, this walk takes hikers through wooded, shaded areas crossed by the Bécane stream. The church of Pechbusque, a stopping place for pilgrims, will charm visitors with its stained glass windows and furnishings. Strongly discouraged in wet weather.

A stone's throw from Toulouse, this is a short, easy route with views of the village and the cliff reflected in the pond, or the Ariège waterfalls.The walk takes less than an hour and is almost completely flat, but it can last a long time if you like to "caress the reeds, leaf through the ponds and cry Rimbaud" or simply contemplate the ducks, egrets and herons or picnic with your feet in the water, sun cream at hand.

From Quai Saint-Marcet, the old port on the Garonne in Muret, the route climbs the cliff via shaded steps to reach Rue de la Côté des Bênes. Simply follow the path to the Brioudes plateau, the leisure centre and the fitness trail.On the Brioudes plateau, in good weather, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mont Valier and other peaks in the Pyrenees. The return journey down the Côte de Bétance takes you back to the car park.

This hike is based on the route published by SICOVAL "Circular walk from Notre-Dame des Bois", which I modified at the end.

This hike, which crosses varied landscapes, offers beautiful views of the Ariège valley. It leads along a path through the woods to the Notre-Dame-des-Bois oratory, a reminder of the discovery of a wooden statue of the Virgin and Child, which can be seen in the church of Clermont-le-Fort.

Starting from the peaceful village of Pouvourville, this easy walk can be enjoyed in all seasons. The signs are everywhere, guiding us along the tree-lined path to the Oppidum de Cluzet, where the first inhabitants of Toulouse lived in the Neolithic period. From the Gallic oppidum, and all along the cliff-top path on the heights of Pech David, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Garonne River flowing through the Toulouse plain.

A very varied hike, combining bucolic trails along the Ariège river and aerial passages on the cliffs. Very little tarmac, lots of trails, beautiful views of the plains and the Pyrenees.The hike ends with a visit to the charming village of Clermont-le-Fort.

Just outside Toulouse, this is a short, invigorating circuit. There is a bit of tarmac when crossing Castanet (1.3 km), but the rest is made up of paths and beautiful trails. The countryside is just a few kilometres from Toulouse. Avoid this circuit after heavy rain as some sections will be difficult to navigate.

Easy walk around the various lakes of the Bidot estate between Fonsorbes, Plaisance du Touch and Frouzins. This route starts at the park entrance and the Salle Bidot in Fonsorbes.

Starting from the Comtesse dovecote, this walk on the outskirts of Toulouse allows you to discover some of the heritage sites of Ramonville and Auzeville, while following paths that are captivating for their plant and botanical diversity.

The circuit includes a few short tarmac sections but also many paths, greenery and beautiful landscapes; a surprising circuit so close to Toulouse.

Crossed by the famous Way of St James, the village of Rebigue offers walkers the chance to discover, among other things, the Fount Grando fountain, the church dedicated to Saint Lizier and the orientation table with a magnificent panorama of the Pyrenees on a clear day.

On the paths maintained by the Sicoval d'agglomération du Sud-Est toulousain, you will discover the orientation table for Rebigue, Castanet-Tolosan and the Toulouse hillsides.

This long walk along the Touch, between the river, lakes, woods and meadows, is very pleasant, varied, often shaded and well laid out. It can also be done by bike. And, of course, you can walk shorter sections.

This walk allows you to discover Île du Ramier, which is currently undergoing development work, via the two new footbridges. Starting from Empalot, the walk joins the Prairie des Filtres and ends at Esquirol, a pocket of wild nature hidden in the heart of the city. The Garonne River flows through it. Stroll along the left bank of Toulouse and discover the city's new developments on a former industrial site. Green spaces have been created to provide shade and coolness in summer. The route is safe and away from traffic. The walk continues towards the historic district and ends at Saint-Cyprien.

This is a walk with two faces: the first part is "aerial", on the right bank, from Vénerque to Clermont-le-Fort, with elevation changes and a landscape stretching as far as the eye can see, along paths that are rarely used (except by trail runners); the second part, on the left bank, is completely "peaceful", winding between the lake, riverbanks and the peaceful neighbourhoods of Le Vernet.

A route starting from Corronsac in the 'long' version, with magnificent landscapes on ridge paths and some beautiful trails in the Lauragais.

From the abbey to the orientation table and the Chapel of Saint-Amans, discover Eaunes in a different way.

This very easy urban walk will take you to the 10 remains of the Roman ramparts of Toulouse fromthe 1st and 3rd centuries AD that are still visible today in public spaces. The duration of this walk will depend on how much time you spend observing the sites.

Between hills and valleys, this hike around Espanès offers beautiful views of the village of Montbrun-Lauragais and the Pyrenees on a clear day. Along the way, visitors can also discover the barns and dovecotes that are characteristic of the region's heritage.

The opening of the Téléo cable car in May 2022 will allow you to make a beautiful circular route along the Garonne and then the Canal du Midi, while providing a view of the city of Toulouse and the Pyrenees. The entire first section, from (1) to (5), is in full sun in the morning. Metro line B, for alternative departures, leaves the landmarks (4) and (8). Please note that the use of the cable car introduces a bias in the Visorando technical data sheet: the elevation gain is very low and the hike is only about 12 km long, taking 2½ to 3 hours on foot.

A walking route connecting Toulouse's must-see monuments, passing by the most beautiful churches, majestic mansions and lively squares, medieval alleyways and museums. This tour of the "Pink City" can be spread over one or more days, depending on the potential visits and stops made.

This route offers panoramic views of the Garonne valley from the Via Garona, as well as a refreshing stroll along the wild single tracks that run alongside the Garonne.

Walk in semi-urban and natural areas along the south-eastern ring road of Toulouse. Discover the vast Grande Plaine leisure area, then climb up to the unspoilt Limayrac woods. Descend towards the green corridor to walk alongside the Cité de l'Espace. There are many opportunities to sit down, do physical activities or play with the children.
