Parking is available in the square behind the town hall.
(S/E) Cross the main street and take the Chemin de la Croix Blanche opposite. Go down the path, follow it for 15 metres on the right and then turn right onto a dirt track, which is theGR® 653, marked in red and white. Pass in front of the Fount Grando fountain, turn left to go up through the field to the Chemin de Rouzaud. Take the D95A road to the right to climb up to the hillock with the orientation table. (1) At the foot of the table, near the house, there is a signpost at the entrance to a dirt track. Follow Pechmirol, cross the small stream, turn right and then immediately left onto the farm track that climbs back up to the D95 road. Caution: busy road. Take care. Follow it to the left for 350 m, if possible at the top, along the edge of the field on the left. You will come to a Y-junction (elevation 257). Turn right onto the D95a, Route de Rebigue, for about 300 m.
(2) There is a signpost on the right indicating Bois de Savignol. Follow this dirt track into the woods to reach a poorly paved road. Follow it for 120 m.
(3) Immediately turn right onto the steep, rutted path. Yellow signposts.
At the bottom, cross the wooden footbridge over the Fage stream to reach Chemin de Savignol. Turn left. Continue to the first T-junction. Enter Castanet-Tolosan (watch out for vehicles).
Turn left onto Rue du Moulin, go down the street which turns right to reach Rue de la Carrelasse on the left. No entry sign. Follow it to the Vierge roundabout.
(4) Turn left towards Rebigue (signpost) D79 Rue Jean Gironis, then Route de Mervilla, for about 900 m.
(5) Between two houses, turn left onto Chemin de la Crabotte. Go downhill, cross a small stream, and take the dirt track that leads into the woods. Continue to the end, climb up into the field (signpost) and turn left. The path will take you to Heath Castle. On your left, you will see Dubarry Castle.
(6) Turn right along the road to reach theGR® 653 at the next crossroads, turning left towards the Cayre chapel. Take care.
(7) Take the dirt track on the left and follow the red and white markings along the cemetery wall.
(8) Take the road on the left (do not follow theGR® two-wheel detour). At the end of the street, go down to the right on the dirt track to the Forgue stream. Cross it to the left and go up the dirt track to reach the water treatment plant.
(9) Note the houses in Rebigue, continue to the tarmac road at the first street. Continue on the right to the town hall car park (S/E).
