Eaunes Abbey car park (media library, 785 Avenue de la Mairie Eaunes).
(S/E) From the car park, go up the road leading to the forest (D56). At the three-way junction, follow the main road to the right and immediately turn left onto Chemin de la Forêt. Go up the path.
(1) At the intersection (not shown on the IGN map), go straight ahead and climb slightly until you reach a clearing.
(2) At the end of the clearing, take the path on the left. Descend and you will come out onto a road near a place called Tarrastet.
(3) Turn right onto Chemin de Tarrastet. Continue along this path, heading west-southwest then west-northwest. Climb up to the vineyards (steep climb just before) and walk along them on your left.
(4) At the corner of the vineyard, turn left.
(5) At the crossroads in Taberly, go straight ahead (west-southwest). Pass under a power line and reach an intersection.
(6) Then turn left and follow the path up to the orientation table (viewpoint over the Pyrenees). Turn around.
(6) When the path turns right, continue straight ahead, along the edge of the woods and past a riding school (large wooden railing). Turn right and pass under the power line again.
(5) At the crossroads you have already taken, turn left.
(4) At the edge of the vineyard, continue straight ahead (north-east) and enter the forest.
(7) About 400 m further on, turn onto the path that descends to the left. Descend, ignoring the paths branching off to the sides. Arrive at the bottom of the forest, which runs parallel to the road below on the left.
(8) Turn right onto a path not shown on the IGN map (east then east-southeast).
(1) Turn left and descend. Return to the road and quickly return to the car park (S/E).
