On the heights of Parnans
This easy walk will take you from the village of Parnans to the Route des Crêtes, where you will have beautiful views of the Royans, the Vercors and its chain of peaks as far as Veymont, the Isère valley, as well as a view to the west towards the Rhône valley and the Ardèche.

On the monks' paths in Triors
Between the Benedictine Abbey of Triors and the Chapel of Gillons, you may encounter monks who also enjoy the tranquillity of these paths, which pass by beautiful walnut groves and close to the foothills of the Drôme hills.

The Crêtes de Saint-Lattier
You will start at the lowest point in Saint-Lattier and climb to the highest point, where you will enjoy a 360° view of the Vercors, Drôme and Ardèche mountains. The cobbled climb, an ancient medieval road, leads to Bel Aire. Along the way, you can admire the paving, the structures from the period and the ruts carved out by the carts and wagons that used to travel to the castle mound known as "Le Pain Sucre", which dominates the Saint-Lattier valley.
Canal de la Bourne and Chapelle Sainte-Béatrix in Eymeux
This is an easy hike. It will take you between the Isère and the Bourne Canal, passing by the Sainte-Béatrix Chapel and its promontory overlooking the Isère with a remarkable view of the Vercors.
The Saint-Ange Chapel via the Combe du Ravi and Mont Peyroux
This is a short hike with the option of picnicking at the foot of the Chapelle Saint-Ange chapel, which offers superb views.
Saint-Bonnet-de-Chavagne loop via Montagne
A walk in the southern foothills of the Chambarans offering beautiful views of the Vercors and, at times, the Chartreuse and the Monts d'Ardèche.
There are no difficulties to be feared on this walk, apart from the distance. You will be walking on dirt tracks, footpaths and small asphalt roads.

On the crossroads between Hostun and La Baume-d'Hostun
An easy walk to discover the heritage and countryside around these two villages. You will walk along the edge of the Royans hills with beautiful views of the plain to the east. At the beginning and end, this walk partly overlaps with the marked hike: "L'Hostunoise".

In the region famous for walnuts, along the tracks of the old tramway from Lyon to Saint-Marcellin and among various church buildings.

On the heights of Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans

Crêtes de Belle-Combe
A very beautiful hike in the Monts du Matin. No particular difficulty except for the steep climb in the first part of the circuit. Dogs are strictly prohibited in this area.

The only difficulty is the high mileage.

This short, pleasant walk takes you to the ruins of the feudal castle of Rochechinard and offers a magnificent view of the Royans valley.
There is a short steep section of 15 metres.
From Saint-Appolinard to Chevrières via the Saint-Pierre chapel
This is an easy hike, except for its length. It will take you through woods, walnut orchards and fields on the southern slope of the Chambarans.
