Park in the car park behind the town hall on Rue des Écoles in Peyrins.
(S/E) Follow Rue des Écoles westwards until you reach Grand'Rue.
Take Grand'Rue northwards to the right. Cross the village. After a junction with a car park, follow Route de Margès for a few metres. Turn right onto Chemin du Gatelet. Join a road coming from the right.
(1) Turn left. At the next crossroads, leave the road going straight down and take the road curving to the right. Then climb up the curve to the left, ignoring a road going down to the right. Walk along the walls of the properties on the right. The tarmac road becomes a stone road, then curves to the right and then turns at a right angle to the left. You will come to a fork in the road.
(2) Follow the well-marked path on the right, which climbs into the forest, then makes a sharp right turn followed by a sharp left turn. On a flat section, walk past a house on your right. You will reach a four-way junction; take the road on your far left. You will come to a residential area on your left. Ignore the road branching off to the left and follow the road on your right. Further on, ignore a path on your left leading to houses. Further on, ignore another
a path on the right and follow the road to the left. You will reach a three-way junction.
(3) Follow the road uphill to the left to the site of Saint-Ange.
(4) After your visit, retrace your steps.
(3) Turn left onto the descending road. The road joins a crossroads with four roads and a path. Follow the ascending path opposite through the meadows. The well-marked path ascends then descends to join a wide path.
(5) Take the wide path that turns sharply to the right. It climbs slightly then descends to join a road near a house. Take the road that descends sharply to the left. After the house, the road turns into a descending path that is stony and rutted by rainwater erosion. Follow this very sandy path and join the bed of a dry stream, which is the Combe du Ravi. The path narrows to a trail in the stream bed. Join a path climbing slightly to the right.
(6) Important:Here, the description chooses to follow the path in the stream bed on the left, but it is also possible to follow the gravel path on the right, which becomes tarmac after the houses on the left.
At the end of Combe du Ravi, on a flatter area, join a road on the right, which is also the one chosen to avoid the stream bed.
(7) Take the road to the left. Ignore a path leading off to the right.
(8) Join a road and follow it to the right towards the south-west without crossing the ford. Near a bridge, join a road. Cross the bridge and immediately after, take a sharp right onto Chemin des Blaches. After a few metres, leave the path straight ahead and follow the edge of the forest, then an uphill sandy section to join a road near farm buildings on the left. Take it for a few metres to the left.
(9) Take the path at a right angle to the right into the forest. The path is clearly marked and almost flat. The path curves to the left (altitude 270) then is fairly straight and then curves to the right. You will reach an area of cliffs and sandy ground with multiple paths. At this place called Les Collères, continue straight ahead on the widest path. You will arrive in front of a house.
(10) Turn right onto the hairpin bend. First there is a descent, then a flat section. After a left-hand bend, continue straight ahead towards a road. Take the road on the left. You will reach the industrial estate. Take the first street on the right. Cross the roundabout and follow Rue des Escoffiers opposite. Cross the ford. You will reach Chemin des Moulins.
(11) Turn right towards the village. At the next crossroads, go up slightly to the left onto Chemin de Chabrières. The street curves uphill to the right. On a flat section, ignore the road on the left, Rue de Châteauroux, and turn right towards the ruined castle.
(12) Pass below the castle. Climb a few steps and then walk along the edge of a property. Follow the steps alongside the cemetery. Reach the church. Follow the path below the church to reach Grand'Rue. Cross opposite towards the town hall. Take the passage between the town hall and the community hall to return to the starting point (S/E).
