To get to the starting point from Peyrins, head towards Génissieux. In a bend, just before a bridge, turn left onto a small road that runs alongside the Savasse river. Turn left at the first crossroads. Pass the first house on the right and continue to the junction of a dirt track on the right. Park here.
(S/E) Return to the small tarmac road and turn right.
(1) Pass two houses. The small road turns into a grassy then sandy path. Continue along this path which climbs uphill, ignoring all the paths that branch off to the left. Walk up the Combe du Ravi and pass the Fort farm. Immediately after the farm, continue straight ahead (ignore the path on the left marked "private property"). A few metres further on, you will come to a small tarmac road.
(2) Take it on the left and continue to a four-way crossroads.
(3) Take the left road to climb towards the Chapelle Saint-Ange. At the next two junctions, turn right. A final climb leads to a picnic area and the chapel.
(4) Retrace your steps back to the four-way intersection.
(3) Ignore all the roads and head straight ahead onto the grassy path that runs between two pasture fences. The path climbs, in the open, up Mont Peyroux and leads to a fork.
(5) Stay on the left-hand path, skirting the woods and enjoying the beautiful views of the village of Geyssans. You will come to a clearing and another crossroads.
(6) Turn right onto the sloping path that enters the woods. You will come out onto an apricot orchard and walk along it. Do not go down the orchard (the path has been blocked). At the end of the orchard, turn right to leave the orchard and take the forest path immediately on the left. Continue along this path, which follows the contours of the land (with ascents and descents). You will come to a wider path.
(7) Take it to the right and stay on it to rejoin the (S/E).
