Park in the Place des Potagers car park in the village of Meymans.
(S/E) Turn right at the car park exit, then left onto Route du Thiolet for about 200 metres.
(1) Turn left onto Route du Pigerenton, then take Chemin de Bellevue on the right and continue to the second right-hand bend.
(2) Head north on the path opposite. Further on, turn left onto the tarmac road heading west and quickly turn right onto a dirt track running parallel to the road, which you will rejoin after 200 m. Follow it north-west in a straight line.
(3) Turn west and pass between two walnut plantations to reach a multiple crossroads. Turn right, heading north, onto Chemin de Blache Ronde, which becomes a dirt track after the post box. You will reach a crossroads.
(4) Turn right and, after a fairly steep descent, enter the undergrowth. You will come to a crossroads before a power line.
(5) Go straight ahead (Red Cross), pass under the power line and walk along the right-hand side of the meadow to reach a fork.
(6) Turn right and walk along the fence. After 160 metres, turn right to pass between two trees.
(7) Turn left to climb up towards the farm. At the well, turn left to pass in front of the shed and arrive at the tarmac road. Take this road to the left, heading north, for 300 m, then turn left onto Route de l'Ecancière. Pass under the motorway and continue straight ahead, leaving the roads on your left.
(8) Cross the Canal de la Bourne bridge. At the Y-junction, turn left onto the road that runs alongside the canal until you reach the small memorial.
(9) Take the dirt track that passes in front of the electricity pole. This runs alongside an orchard, then curves to the right, approaching the D532.
(10) Just before the D532, turn left and go down into the hollow where you will find a path that is not very obvious, which takes you up alongside a small stream. Fork the stream two or three times. This can be tricky after heavy rain. This is the only difficult part of the hike. Walk for 850 m in the ravine, trying not to lose sight of the path.
(11) At the exit of the ravine, turn left onto the wide path that crosses the motorway via a bridge and joins the Route de l'Ecancière.
(12) Turn right and follow this road for 300 m until you reach a T-junction. Turn left, south-east, onto the old road, which becomes a dirt track, and continue to Bois Vert.
(13) Opposite the farm building, take the forest path on the left, then turn right onto the tarmac road for a few metres. Then turn left onto the D522 and follow it carefully to the car park (S/E).
