The hike starts from the Salle des Fêtes car park.
(S/E) When you leave the car park, turn left onto Route des Tonnets to reach the junction with Route de Beauregard. Cross at the pedestrian crossing and follow Rue des Pâquerettes, which is almost opposite, then turn left at the junction towards the edge of the village and you will arrive at the monument with three crosses.
(1) Take the road on the left that climbs slightly. Continue along this road for about 500 metres, then take a path on the right just after the pine forest. This path descends and then climbs again through fields until it reaches a road.
(2) Cross it and follow the path opposite, which descends before reaching another road. Turn left and follow it until you reach the "Serne" sign.
(3) Take the path on the right that climbs towards Col Alexandre. When you reach a tarmac road, turn left. Go behind the house and follow the path uphill. At the crossroads, turn left; the path climbs slightly to the road. Turn right and follow the road to Col Alexandre.
(4) At the top of the pass, follow the forest path to the right and at the sign for "La Côte de Barret", turn onto the path on the left.
(5) At the four-way junction, turn right and then immediately right again. Go around the water tower on the right and continue on the path on the left which descends slightly: viewpoint over Jaillans. You will come to another junction.
(6) Turn right. At the sign for "Chaperon", turn left towards "les Mas" on the path that descends to a clearing. Continue along the path downhill. Remember to close any gates behind you.
(7) At the "les Mas" sign, turn right towards "les Ayes - Jaillans". When you reach the road, turn right and then right again after about 100 metres to follow a wide path to a ruined house. Take the path that climbs up to the left to reach a small tarmac road. Follow it to the right, then take the path that descends to the right to reach another road.
(8) Turn right and follow the road until you reach the sign for "Les Ayes", continuing in the same direction.
(9) Continue left, following the signs for "Jaillans". Ignore the road on the right and take the path opposite. Water point for dogs. Go up the dirt track to the tarmac road, continue along it and pass a large oak tree.
(10) After the farm, turn left and continue to the village via Rue de la Tour. Pass in front of La Jaille to reach the square. Pass in front of the bakery. Take the path between the houses, then turn left to reach Route de Beauregard. Cross over and continue straight ahead to reach the car park (S/E).
