Grandrupt-de-Bains walks

Starting from the pretty village of Grandrupt-de-Bains with its beautiful old houses, this hike will take you to a place where the Resistance fighters lived and trained in August and September 1944, but above all a place of remembrance. You will also discover: petroglyph rocks, boundary stones bearing coats of arms, ponds, picnic and rest areas and views of the Vosges mountains. A few sections on the road allow us to pass through forests, meadows and farmland, as well as rural areas.

Starting from the Manufacture Royale car park in Bains-les-Bains. After crossing lock 32, you will climb gently through the woods towards the hamlet of Les Baraques, then reach lock 31 and finish on the towpath between the river and the canal. (Please note that hunting is permitted on a small section of the route on Thursdays and Sundays.)

Loop starting from the Manufacture Royale de Bains, through the forest, the fields on the Plateau de la Fosse le Loup and along the Canal de l'Est. Private hunting is permitted in part of the forest on Thursdays and Sundays.

Starting from the Royal Manufactory in Bains-les-Bains, hike along the towpath between the Canal de l'Est and the Rivière le Coney. Pipée footbridge, Bois de la Pipée and crossing of the hamlet of Les Baraques. Descend through the woods to lock no. 32.

Between the towpath and the forest, a short loop following the red fleurs-de-lis starting from the Manufacture Royale de Bains. (You may encounter a private hunt on Thursdays and Sundays)

At the curious turquoise Planey spring, "witches" with supposed evil powers used to gather for their sabbaths.

Starting from Mirecourt, this loop is an enjoyable way to discover the heritage and countryside of the Vosges. The route passes through varied landscapes: village lanes, hedged paths, open fields and rivers crossed by charming wooden footbridges. A short hike full of surprises in a forest environment among sandstone rocks. A viewpoint equipped with a promontory offering a beautiful view of the Moselle valley.The loop can be done in either direction, but the suggested direction gives you a better idea of the elevation gain.There are markings (yellow diamonds) but they are not always easy to spot. Please note that access to the Tête des Cuveaux viewpoint is closed until further notice.

A hike starting from Le Roulier that offers two variations on the route.

This hike with little elevation gain allows you to discover the villages of Girecourt-sur-Durbion, Gugnécourt and Méménil. This circuit, mostly on roads, is ideal on a beautiful spring or autumn day.

This family hiking trail, on the outskirts of Mélisey, allows you to discover the Plateau des 1000 Étangs (Plateau of 1000 Ponds) via small wooded paths. The ponds located along the trail will amaze you, such as the Grand Rosbeck, one of the most beautiful in the Southern Vosges.

A beautiful walk in the forest with a peat bog, numerous ponds and the Saint-Desle fountain. Very pleasant in summer. Please note that during the week, part of the route may be closed for military reasons (proximity to a shooting range). Please check with the town hall on 03 84 30 10 87. In this case, you can bypass the point (4) by following the tarmac road to the point (9). (Route shortened by 4 km).
