"White Fleur de Lys" brooch, Manufacture Royale - la Pipée - Les Baraques

Departure from the historic grounds of the Royal Bath Manufactory. Free parking on the grounds.

(S/E) Take the access road to the factory, then cross the bridge over the Rivière le Coney and continue to lock no. 32.

(1) Continue straight ahead and follow the Canal de l'Est towards the south on your right.

(2) At the bridge over the Coney, continue along the towpath between the river and the canal. Reach the hamlet of La Pipée and the footbridge over the canal.

(3) Cross the canal via the footbridge. Turn left at the ruins and climb into the woods on the wet path at the start until you reach a carriage road.

(4) Follow it to the right until you reach a three-way junction.

(5) Turn left, heading northwest, and you will come to a road very close to a three-way junction.

(6) Turn right for a few metres, at the three-way junction turn left towards Les Baraques and follow the road until you find a small path that descends into the woods on the right.

(7) Take the hairpin bend to the right and descend towards the south-east until you reach the tarmac road.

(8) Continue left on this road and rejoin the route you took after the bridge, at lock no. 32.

(1) Turn left and head towards the Manufacture Royale de Bains-les-Bains (S/E).

Free parking at the entrance to the estate. Reserved for tourists visiting the estate or restaurant customers
