Description of the walk

Park in the free car park at the Manufacture Royale estate.

(S/E) With your back to the estate, follow the road and cross the small wooden bridge over the Coney. Join the towpath.

(1) Turn right to follow the Canal de l'Est northwards to the lock.

(2) Go through the lock and join the small path on the other side. Climb up into the woods to the forest path.

(3) Take this road to the left heading south and continue straight ahead until you reach the small road to Grurupt. Hunting may take place in the woods on your right on Thursdays and Sundays.

(4) Turn left and cross the lock.

(5) Turn left between the canal and the Coney.

(1) Cross the bridge over the Coney again to return to the car park (S/E).

Private car park at the entrance to the Manufacture estate, reserved for tourists visiting the estate or restaurant customers

The estate's restaurant is open from March to October, Wednesday to Sunday inclusive, from 9am to 6pm.

On the estate, free visits, free exhibition, guided tours on the2nd and4th Fridays of each month: chapel, remarkable trees.
