Franqueville-Saint-Pierre walks

There is nothing special to discover on this short route, just a breath of fresh air. Pass through the fields on the Franquevillais plateau, descend to the Lyons-la-Forêt road via the Sente des Hauts Bœufs to reach the village of Épinay. Then, climb up the path at the edge of the Bois des Chartreux towards Le Faulx, in the commune of Franqueville-Saint-Pierre.

This hike starts in the centre of the village and follows the Grande Randonnée trails that circle around the south.

This pleasant circular walk, located on the outskirts of Rouen, invites you to discover the charms of the Seine valley, between unspoilt nature and local heritage. Starting from Amfreville-la-Mi-Voie, the discovery trail guides you through varied landscapes, combining undergrowth, viewpoints and peaceful paths. The route continues towards Belbeuf, where the castle elegantly dominates the surroundings, bearing witness to the history and character of the area. It is an invitation to relax, observe and become more aware of the environment.

This is a very pleasant walk through charming little villages where you can admire magnificent thatched cottages and other typical Norman houses, or pass through the village of Fontaine-sous-Préaux where the Robec river has its source. You will also pass through woods where you can enjoy a little shade when it is hot. Be careful on the few fairly steep climbs and descents and on some paths that can be very muddy in wet weather (this is Normandy, after all!).

This circular walk invites walkers to discover green paths and beautiful panoramic views of the Normandy countryside. Accessible and enjoyable, this walk is perfect for recharging your batteries, observing the local flora and fauna, and sharing a convivial moment in the heart of nature.

Country lanes and forest paths take you to the semi-troglodytic Saint-Adrien chapel, passing through the village of Belbeuf where you can admire the castle and its polygonal dovecote.

A short walk around the village. After crossing the forest, we will return via theGR® 25 to the village, passing in front of the small church.

A short, peaceful walk on the outskirts of Rouen, perfect for getting some fresh air and sunshine. Most of the route passes through fields. There are a few sections of tarmac roads and paths, but this is the price you pay for discovering some very charming villages and hamlets.

With a nod to Victor Hugo, who referred to the city as the city of a hundred bell towers, the theme of this urban walk is churches and chapels without bell towers. These are the remains of churches that have suffered the ravages of history and urbanisation, as well as churches and chapels that have been deconsecrated and converted to other uses or are awaiting decisions on their fate. A few buildings still used for worship are exceptions, but they are well worth a visit. An opportunity to (re)discover this beautiful city .

Starting from the Clos Démont housing estate, this 9 km hike will take you along various paths in La Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel. You can take a break at the pond on Rue Saint-Autin, in the Lotissement des Beaux Repaires park, or on the Promenade du Clos Démont. Along the way, you will also see the Château Jacques Anquetil. You can shorten this route at any time by taking Rue des Andelys towards the town hall.

This route is suitable for all levels as the outward and return journeys follow the same route, so you can turn back at any time! The starting point is near the Jonquemare pond in Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel. Passing through the Longboël forest, you will go through the Parc des Flotteaux, the Guinguette des Écluses, the dam and the Lac des Deux Amants.

An easy hike that leads from the town hall of Bois Guillaume to the church of Isneauville via the paths of Bois Guillaume and the footpaths of the new district of Isneauville, returning via the Forêt Domaniale Verte.

This is an easy stroll that allows you to discover some of the footpaths that characterise Bois-Guillaume and the Forêt Domaniale Verte, which is magnificent, especially in autumn. This route can also be done by bicycle.

A pleasant walk, mostly through the forest, to see three remarkable trees and discover the panorama of La Roche Fouet, site of the ruins of the old Fouet castle.The start and end of the route are along the banks of the Seine.

This introductory loop hike takes in the western slopes of Rouen (Fond du Val - Le Cotillet) as far as the Portes de la Forêt Verte small park. The route is largely an out-and-back, so you can shorten the walk if you need to, depending on your physical abilities.

A walk in the green forest, suitable all year round. The paths are wide and often paved, so there is little risk of mud.

A lovely little walk, full of flowers in spring, through fields planted with cherry trees and villages. You can admire the view over Sotteville-sous-le-Val and the beautifully maintained houses and gardens in Les Authieux-sur-le-Port-Saint-Ouen.

A pleasant short hike of about ten kilometres along the banks of the Andelle and the Seine. Crossing the Léry Poses outdoor recreation centre and on the banks of Biotropica.

An invigorating hike with remarkable views overlooking the Seine, the Poses-Léry leisure centre and Pont de l'Arche. Pass close to three 17th-century châteaux: the Manoir de Senneville, the Manoir de Canteloup and the Château des Deux Amants, the setting for the legend of Raoul de Bonnemare and Mathilde. Stroll along the Seine for 1,500 metres. Final stroll along the Andelle and the mills of Romilly-sur-Andelle.

Circuit around the water: lakes, ponds and river. This walk begins by crossing the Seine via a footbridge that passes over the locks and the Poses dam. It then goes around the Lac des Deux Amants and the Lac du Mesnil, where numerous birds, including waterfowl, add to the charm of these lakeside landscapes. Finally, the return to the banks of the Seine takes you past splendid houses built from local stone and faces the chalk cliffs.

The 2 Lovers' hike.

A short walk to discover the northern part of the Forêt Verte, which is less frequented. Over just a few kilometres, you will discover a wide variety of forest landscapes.

This easy walk along the banks of the Seine and its branches, which form small islands, takes you to the small marina of Saint Aubin Les Elbeuf. The path continues to the bend opposite the church of Saint Georges d'Orival and its cliffs.
