Description of the walk

Parking and start point: the car park of the Mach7 building, Rue de la Sente aux Bœufs.

S/E) Leave the car park, cross the road and head towards the Stop sign on your left.

(1) Turn right onto Sente des Blatiers. At the end, continue along the path straight ahead after the barriers. Walk for about 400 m until you reach a metal barrier on your right.

(2) At this gate, turn into the left-hand lane to enter the park with the fitness trail. Follow the gravel path to the right, and at the last piece of equipment on the fitness trail, turn onto the path on the right. When you reach the tarmac, turn right and head down to No. 760, which is the first house directly opposite.

(3) Continue straight ahead onto Chemin du Mont Pilon, which descends to the left of the house, and follow this path all the way down to the tarmac road, Sente du Mont Pilon, with a level crossing on your left. Cross the road, continue straight ahead onto Sente des Cressonnière and turn right at the first small uphill path to rejoin the road at the sign for Résidence du Mont-Pilon.

(4) Turn left and follow the tarmac for about 80 m. Turn left onto the small path that runs behind the houses to arrive opposite a block of flats. Head left to the T-junction and left again onto Rue de Préaux. Go under the railway bridge and continue to the roundabout.

(5) Head right onto Domaine du Mont-Briseuil and walk for about 180 m. Turn left, crossing the small wooden bridge over the stream. Climb the steps and continue along the small, fairly steep, uphill path to the first junction. Turn left onto Chemin du Mont aux Aniers and walk for about 2000 m until you reach the tarmac road, Route de Darnétal.

(6) Turn left for 70 m and then turn right onto Chemin des Pépinières, passing between the football pitch and the field until you reach the T-junction. Turn left onto Rue des Trois Fermes. At the roundabout, continue straight ahead and take the path on the right, Chemin de la Ronce. Cross the woods via the descending path to reach the roundabout just after the village school in Saint-Martin-du-Vivier.

(7) Cross the road, turning right onto Route de la Vallée, then turn immediately left onto Impasse de la Cascade. Go under the bridge and turn right onto the path leading uphill just after the barriers. Walk uphill for about 260 m and continue along the path branching off to the left to reach the road, just after the metal barriers.

(8) Turn left, go up the steps on your left and follow the path. At the junction, turn left; when you reach the tarmac, go straight on, ignoring a road on the left and one on the right. At the roundabout, go straight ahead and continue straight on until you reach the car park (S/E).
