Start from the car park at the church in Saint-Martin-du-Vivier.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards and cross the main road to take the Impasse des Rosiers. After 50 metres, turn right onto the path leading to the Rue des 2 Hameaux and follow it up on the left.
(1) Take Impasse du Coteau on the right after the level crossing. Continue along the path after the left-hand bend for a steep climb towards Mont Perreux.
(2) At the crossroads, just before reaching the plateau, continue along theGR®® to the right. Carry on straight ahead along the edge of the woods, ignoring the path on the right leading to Isneauville. At the junction with the path leading down to the right towards the church at Fontaine-sous-Préaux, carry on straight ahead until you reach the start of the Ruette aux Cailloux, which descends steeply to the Route d’Isneauville (D47).
(3) Walk down the road, pass under the railway bridge and continue to the small car park opposite the Source du Robec.
(4) At the end of the car park, take the Chemin du Mont Roty on the left. After 150 m, turn left onto the Bosc aux Moines. Continue along the grassy, wooded path, which climbs steeply. Ignore the paths to the right and left and keep heading north-east. When you can see the high-voltage power line, follow it for 100 m to the right, then turn right again to follow the path under the trees, skirting the edge of the forest.
(5) Cross the Chemin du Mont Roty and follow it to the left (as you leave the forest). Continue straight ahead across the plain, passing under the high-voltage power line until you reach the four-way junction (tarmac).
(6) Take the grassy path on the right (a hairpin bend), ignore the fork further on to the left, pass under the high-voltage power line again and continue towards the Ferme de l’Essart.
(7) Continue along the road, heading south towards Roncherolles. Pass the Bois Breton housing estate.
(8) On the uphill stretch, turn left onto Chemin du Vallon. At Rue du Carouget, turn right, then left onto Chemin des Murets, which leads to Rue de l’Église.
(9) Turn right onto Rue de l’Église and carry on straight ahead until you reach the roundabout, then take Allée des Bouilleurs opposite.
(10) At the start of Allée des Bouilleurs, carry on straight ahead along Chemin de la Ronce. After a bend to the left, the path descends to the school in Saint-Martin-du-Vivier.
(11) Just before the school, take the path on the right leading onto Rue du Bouvier. Turn left after 200 m, then right onto Route de la Vallée, before turning immediately right again towards the church (S/E).
