Champdray walks

The hike begins at the Spiémont geodesic chimney with its orientation table, then takes you to discover "sacrificial stones" with magnificent cup marks that are said to have been used in ancient rituals. The route then heads to Laleu Colline (Colline au Loup), a small hill with a rocky summit which offers panoramic views of the Middle Vosges from its footbridge. On the way back, the route passes through the Bouyère peat bog before reaching the village of Champdray.

A family walk a few kilometres from Bruyères or Gérardmer, without any great difficulty. This walk, starting from the town hall in Jussarupt, takes you through beautiful forests and the charming village.

An easy hike that passes by two pretty waterfalls, with trails through the woods and the Vosges countryside. The route follows the typical Club Vosgien signage, which may seem a little complex and confusing at first but, with a little practice, proves to be particularly effective, provided you have an IGN map to refer to.

This easy route invites you to discover Le Tholy from different angles. This loop, which is fully marked with green rings and red crosses, follows small roads, forest tracks and footpaths. Suitable for pushchairs, the aim of this walk is also to discover the village's wayside crosses.

Of course, like all water trails, it is best to visit outside the dry seasons, otherwise it loses all its appeal. The trail is fairly well marked (red rings) and there are picnic tables along the way (especially in the first part).

In the Vologne Valley at the foot of the Montagne du Village, Fays is a small, characterful village in the Vosges mountains, surrounded by greenery.

A short hike full of surprises in a forest environment among sandstone rocks. A viewpoint equipped with a promontory offering a beautiful view of the Moselle valley.The loop can be done in either direction, but the suggested direction gives you a better idea of the elevation gain.There are markings (yellow diamonds) but they are not always easy to spot. Please note that access to the Tête des Cuveaux viewpoint is closed until further notice.

This hike goes around Lake Gérardmer, the largest natural lake in the Vosges. Covering an area of 115 hectares, it is surrounded by forests and lies at the foot of the town of Gérardmer, known for its ski resort and also for its many water sports attractions.

Set off to explore a small cavity in the rock, called the Chambre du Loup (Wolf's Chamber), at the foot of the small Lyris cliff, the Pyramid, and various other features on this site, which was used for the construction of the church and presbytery of the hamlet of Haut-du-Tôt. All this can be explored via a somewhat mystical path through a magnificent coniferous forest with moss-covered rocks.

A magnificent route with a variety of landscapes. You will be charmed by the walk along the shores of the largest natural lake in the Vosges. After a detour through the forest and pastures that border the southern shore of the lake, you will enjoy the natural beauty of the Saut de la Bourrique site. Following the Ruisseau du Phény stream and its remarkable little bridges, you will return to the lake shore to complete this circular path.

Saut de la Bourrique is a waterfall in the Vosges mountains in the commune of Gérardmer. The legend associated with the name of this waterfall actually comes from a bourrique that belonged to a lord. Returning from the crusades, he was attacked by bandits, and to protect him the animal threw itself on them at the foot of the waterfall, where it perished with the miscreants. 28/05/2024: Hiking not possible at present: Sentier du saut de la bourrique closed from (1) to (2) by municipal by-law since 15 March 2024 for works.
