Start: La Haute Verrière (altitude 566), Lépanges-sur-Vologne (hunting lodge).
(S/E) Blue disc markings. From the hunting lodge, continue west on the forest path for about 1.5 km.
(1) At the intersection, turn left towards the source of the Durbion. You will enter the Dompierre communal forest. At the next intersection, continue left. Leave a path on your left.
(2) Blue disc signpost. After passing the Saint-Christophe cross, turn right twice in succession.
(3) Red disc signpost. Turn right towards the source of the Durbion. The round trip will take about 15 minutes and you can also enjoy the Roche d'Aurichapelle.
(4) Continue right for 500 m before reaching the Bourcier Cross.
(5) Turn left towards the Abri Bourcier (where you can take a break or shelter in bad weather).
(6) Turn back to the Croix Bourcier.
(5) After about 800 m, you will be invited to turn right towards Viménil. Green signpost. You will arrive at an intersection where you must turn left. 150 m further on, the signpost will indicate that you should turn right onto a narrower path that descends.
(7) You will arrive at a new intersection with a wide path. Take this path to the right, then 350 m further on (elevation 431), turn left towards the Sainte Marie spring.
(8) After a climb, you will come to a wide path again, which you take to the right. Continue on this same path uphill until you reach the junction at the start of the loop.
(1) Take the path on the left to return to Haute Verrière and your vehicle atthe start/finish point.
