Fiménil loop

Start: Fiménil, towards Prey, intersection of Route de la Mairie and Route de Stéaumont.

(S/E) Enter the Bois de la Haie via the Route du Champ François. At the first crossroads, continue straight ahead. Then, drive past a farm on your left before taking the road that climbs up to your right. As you climb, you will pass the Stéaumont water board on your left.

(1) This road becomes a path that passes through the Fiménil communal forest. At the next intersection, turn right, still following the blue cross.

(2) About 500 metres further on, you will come to another intersection: take the central path lined with conifers and heather.

(3) At the third intersection, continue straight ahead for about 800 metres before leaving the forest.

(4) You will find a paved road lined with a few houses on your right, which will take you back to your starting point (S/E).

To reach the starting point by car from the centre of Bruyères, head towards Barbazan, then cross the village of Champ-le-Duc and follow signs for Fiménil. Enter the village, pass the town hall and continue to the water reservoir. You can park nearby.

There is a picnic table at the start of the circuit, ideal for a snack break.
