To return to the starting point by car from Bruyères: head towards Gérardmer. After passing through Laveline-devant-Bruyères, turn right. Continue until you reach Jussarupt. At the intersection, turn right and park at the next junction between Jussarupt and Herpelmont.
(S/E) At the intersection, the markers are next to the sign for "Le centre". Head towards Haut Vinot.
(1) At the next intersection, turn right and follow this road until the first road that climbs up on your right, towards Lauvoid. Continue climbing this road until you reach the bench at the start of three paths.
(2) Here, take the left-hand path (south).
(3) At the next bench, you will find a shelter if you want to take a break in the shade.
Continue left on the wide path and go straight ahead at the crossroads. After about 350 m, turn right until you reach a fork. You will then arrive at a wide viewpoint.
(4) Follow the path on your left and continue straight ahead at the next crossroads. You will arrive at a path near a few houses.
(5) Take the road on your left, then the one on your right at Foncé. Go downhill and take the second road on your left.
(6) You will enter the woods again. Do not take the road that descends into the forest; continue straight ahead.
(7) Leave the road and take a path on your left, then turn right at the fork.
(8) In the woods, you will come to a crossroads. Turn left and join a wider path on the left.
(9) Follow a path that descends to your right, then right again.
(10) Once you reach the road, turn right and descend back to the village (S/E).
