The grassy banks surrounding the lake are perfect for a short nap.
You may be lucky enough to see some chamois or deer.
The Col du Lhéris from the Col des Palomières
This is a lovely, challenging route starting from a pass above Bagnères-de-Bigorre, which takes you to the Col du Lhéris.
This route is also suitable for snowshoeing.
This route is accessible in all seasons, except after heavy rain, as the trails become very muddy.
Le Soum de l'Hailla
The summit is easily accessible from Ste-Marie-de-Campan, except when there is snow.

E goodsense of direction is necessary in these summer pastures and grassy ridges.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery from the summit of Monné while passing through the Vallon de Salut, the Allées Dramatiques and the Col du Tucou, and descending not far from the Croix de Manse.A moderate hike with no significant difficulties.
Le Tucou, Le Monné, Pic de Labassère
A lovely hike over the mountains from Bagnères-de-Bigorre.
This hike requires a minimum sense of direction, although there were many signposts on the day of my hike.
Warning
A VR indicates a difficult path between (12) and (14): forestry work has been carried out, causing considerable damage to the forest path. Take extra care and use the GPX track.

Ascent to the Hourquette de Caderolles, the Col de Bastanet and overnight stay at the Campana de Cloutou refuge.
This first stage is classified as difficult because there is a lot of elevation gain.
Payolle - Plo del Naou loop
Hike along trails starting from Payolle, through the forest to the Col d'Aspin, then following the ridges of the Plo del Naou. At the summit, you can enjoy an exceptional panorama of the Campan and Arreau valleys, part of the Pyrenees mountain range, as well as the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and the Arbizon.
Winter circular loop via the Col d'Aspin and Plo del Naou
Snowshoe route offering views over the entire Payolle area. This hike can obviously also be done in summer.
However, do not head towards Plo del Naou in foggy or snowy conditions as there are no landmarks (it is a very large summer grazing area). A good sense of direction is essential (especially after the summit).
