From Campan towards Sainte-Marie de Campan on the D935, turn right onto the D154 towards Peyras, then follow the Peyras Forest Road to an altitude of 1,200 metres at the car park near the cattle grid before the Col de la Courade.
(S/E) Take the marked path eastwards to the Croix du Peyras.
(1) Turn right onto the path, which is not always well marked, heading south then south-west for about 2.7 km, passing below Soum de Castet on the right. You will arrive at Lac d'Aygue Rouye, which is slightly off the path on the left.
(2) After the lake, off the marked trail, continue south-west along the stream on a slightly steep path with a few cairns. The path turns west to cross a kind of pass above Lac de l'Œuf.
(3) From the lake, head north on a path to reach the ridge as easily as possible. This will take you to Pas de la Crabe at an altitude of 1963 metres.
(4) Continue along the ridge and reach Cap d'Aygue Rouye at an altitude of 2005 metres.
(5) Continue on to Turon de Malets at an altitude of around 1939 metres.
(6) Continue along the ridge to climb to Liset de Hount Blanque at an altitude of 1941 metres.
(7) Follow the markings heading north-west along a descending path following the Crête de Sarradet, which ends at around 1,700 m. At around 1,680 m, the path enters the pine forest of Bois de Niclade, making several turns. Follow it straight ahead to the northeast and arrive at the vast Col de la Courade and its car park at an altitude of 1285 metres.
(8) Continue right along the Route Forestière du Peyras and return to the car park at the start (S/E).
