West Tower of Bagnères-de-Bigorre

Park in the paid car park opposite the Bagnères-de-Bigorre thermal baths, or in the free car park a little further away.

(S/E) Opposite the thermal baths, turn left onto Boulevard Rolland Castells, then take the^first road uphill on the right. At the first crossroads, turn right onto Allée Ferdinand de Cardaillac. Continue to the bend in the road.

(1) Continue right on the track and, at the three-way junction, take the middle path to pass in front of the Fontaine Verte, slightly below the path.

(2) Join a road and turn right onto the downhill road to the Fontaine Ferrugineuse. Turn around to return to the crossroads and continue on the uphill road Chemin du Plateau de Milon. Take the^first road uphill on the left towards the Plateau de Milon. On the way up, at the Y-junction, turn left and join a small road.

(3) Turn left, then stay on the road. At the junction with the information sign, continue left onto the Chemin de la Fontaine des Fées track.

(4) After the inn, take the^first path downhill to the left, pass in front of the Fontaine des Fées and continue along the small uphill path. Join the track and turn left. You will reach an X-shaped crossroads.

(5) Continue on the right-hand track and arrive at the Col du Mont Olivet, where you will find an information sign.

(6) Take the track on the right to reach Mont Olivet. Then return to the crossroads and continue straight ahead. At the next crossroads, take the path on the right to reach the Col du Bédat.

(7) Turn left, pass the orientation table, which is located on the left side of the path on a small mound. Continue on to the Vierge du Bédat.

(8) Turn right downhill and, at the Y-junction, continue straight ahead. When you reach a building, take the downhill track on the left, join a small road and arrive at the Croix de Manse road junction.

(9) Take the road uphill on the right, Chemin des Portes de Fer, and quickly leave it on the left to take the uphill track. Go through a small wooden gate and you will reach the crossroads of Chemin des Allées Dramatiques.

(10) Take this road on the left and ignore the path on the left that descends directly to Vallon de Salut. Continue straight ahead, cross Ruisseau de l'Anou and you will soon come to a crossroads.

(11) Turn left 180° and pass in front of the climbing rock. Join a path, take it to the left, then arrive on a wide track. Take it and then arrive on a small road.

(12) Start an easy climb on the right, which ends at Allées Maintenon (road).

(13) Turn left into this lane, cross the Caubeta and Bragard neighbourhoods, then take Rue Joseph Devaux, Rue Haut du Pouey, and turn left onto Rue de Nansouty. Turn right onto Avenue Prosper Nogues. At the roundabout, turn left onto Boulevard Rolland Castells to return to the Thermes car park (S/E).
