Along the water, between Montélier and Fauconnières
If you take this easy walk in spring, you will be charmed by the songs and gurgling of the water in the canals, streams and rivers that you will follow along the way. You will also be able to appreciate the great diversity of species in the vegetation, which is in full bloom at this time of year. An option (an extra half hour round trip) allows you to continue on to the village of Fauconnières.
Lac de Champos along the Herbasse river from Saint-Donat
This route runs alongside the Herbasse for much of the way, passing through gardens, fields and woods, and reaches Lac de Champos, its campsite and leisure centre, avoiding tarmac as much as possible. It ends at the charming little Georges Bert park.

In the footsteps of the Knights Templar in Saint-Vincent-la-Commanderie
Saint-Vincent had a commandery inthe 13th century. "In the footsteps of the Knights Templar" is an easy walk at the foot of the Rochers de Treillaras cliffs, often on the edge of the woods, over gently rolling terrain with beautiful views of the plain.
Tour of Pélafol Castle
The stronghold of the bishops of Valence, whose rights to this castle were confirmed in 1238 by the German emperors, Pellafol has always had the same lords as Barbières, although it had a different suzerain. This 8.5 km circuit takes you around the castle in Barbières, via the Col de la Sambie.
The Pas de Saint-Vincent, Pierre-Chauve and the Col de Tourniol
While the Pas de Saint-Vincent and Pierre-Chauve are classics in the area, the route described here is less so... You'll need strong legs to climb the 300 m ascent below the Pas, save some energy to reach the summit of Pierre-Chauve, and a good sense of direction to reach Tourniol... but what a treat for the eyes!
