The Chatuzange le Goubet bike tour

This short family bike ride (all types of bikes) takes you on a complete tour of the municipality of Chatuzange-Le-Goubet, covering approximately 25 km. This route takes you along small municipal roads and will take you through the eight main roads that enter the villages indicated by the signs. There are no particular difficulties. It allows you to discover the countryside surrounding this municipality.

Description of the route

Depart from the car park of the Chatuzange-Le-Goubet supermarket on Route du Stade.

(S) Go to the roundabout, take the first exit and follow the D149. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and continue on the D302 towards Bésayes and Charpey. Turn right onto Route des Quatre Vents a few metres after the hamlet of Les Lattards.

(1) Turn onto this road, ignore Chemin du Rame on the right and then a track on the left, and you will arrive at a three-way junction.

(2) Keep left until you reach a four-way intersection with a central island. Please note that part of the road is unpaved for approximately 600 metres.

(3) Turn right onto Chemin de Saint-Jean.

(4) At the stop sign, turn right onto the D102 and follow it until the third road on the right.

(5) Continue right onto Route Julien Clairefond, then right onto Route d'Alixan and on to the church in Chatuzange-le-Goubet.

(6) Turn left after the church and continue along Chemin de Cenizier.

(7) At the crossroads with a central island, turn left onto Rue de la Treille, then right onto Chemin de la Cour, then right again onto Chemin de Gade and follow it to the end.

(8) Turn right onto Chemin des Pérers and you will come to a triangular roundabout.

(9) Go around it, take the fifth exit, Route des Gouverneurs, and arrive at a four-way intersection.

(10) Turn left onto Route Olivier de Serres, then turn right at the multi-way junction onto Route de Malataverne, towards Chambois. Continue until you reach another multi-way junction.

(11) Continue on the second road on the left, Chemin des Seyvons, until you reach a four-way intersection.

(12) Continue almost straight ahead until you reach a crossroad.

(13) Turn right and continue until you reach another crossroad. Turn left and you will arrive at the D149, Route Charlemagne.

(14) Follow it to the right, enter Chatuzange-le-Goubet and arrive at a four-way intersection.

(15) Turn left onto Place du 19 Mars 1942, towards Papelissier. Leave the village, continue along Route des Moulins and arrive at a three-way junction with a central island.

(16) Keep left towards Papelissier and follow Route des Moulins until you reach a four-way intersection.

(17) Turn right onto Chemin de Palassière and follow it to the end.

(18) Turn left and then quickly right onto Chemin de l'Ozon. Drive past the Silos de la Sizeranne and you will come to a crossroads.

(19) Turn right and continue straight ahead on Route des Pinets until you reach the supermarket car park on Route du Stade (S/E).
