I walked this route, following the mountain-bike signposts.
A lovely ride – the first half is all uphill, whilst the second half is downhill with some beautiful views.
The first section is on a wide track, with magnificent sections through the woods and a winding single-track descent to the finish, where you can admire the rock formations. It feels just like being in the Bourne Gorges.
The route took 1 hour 30 minutes at a brisk pace.

We did this cycle route on foot. We followed the cycle signs all the way.
As we walked, we were able to admire magnificent mountain scenery, as well as views of the valley and, from the higher ground, unobstructed views of the Ardèche and the Rhône.
This walk took us 3 hours with two children aged 13 and 9.
